Maybe a stupid question but if you quit a game and return to the dashboard. Is there a way to eject the game with the controller?
Yeah...

Go down to the bottom of the dashboard where it says the game name and push A. It'll eject the tray.

Not if there's a game inside. Then it just launches the game again.

Haha, I thought that was a weird question. Turns out I just can't read.

The return of The General Information Thread for All Owners and Potential Buyers of the Xbox 360 thread is coming back tomorrow (May 15th)
unless LinkinPrime feels otherwise!

I did a search and nothing came up. Maybe I didn't word it right. I'm curious as to how I can link a friend to where they can see my achievements and all that. I tried copying and pasting the link I get from Xbox.com, but it would simply prompt my friend to log in to his own MS Passport account. I want to prove to him, the non-believer that he is, that I beat "Through the Fire and the Flames" on Expert. :)

He may think it's photoshopped though...
You have to be logged in to see people's achievements I believe.
Yeah? I thought that may be the case as far as Xbox.com goes, due to whathappened, but I figrued maybe there was some other way.

Thank you very much for doing that. Hopefully it shall be proof enough. He and I have been trying to complete the song before the other. I can only prove my victory online, however, since he lives 2,000 miles away.

He can also login to his own account on xbox.com and click on his gamertag at the top right of the screen. That brings up his profile. Then he can click on his friends list and compare achievements. It will line up his next to yours for whatever game he selects.

Yes, I know. But as I said in the last post, he has he game for PS2. This is because he doesn't own a 360, so unfortunately, he can't check it out that way.

he could of created a free silver live account/MS Passport account on XBOX.com without having a 360

So I've finally decided to connect my 360 to live. My computer is using a wireless connection from a router in another room, and I have the 360 connected to a different router in my room. (The router in my room is connected to my pc via the WAN connection)

The 360 was showing up in my network connection in Vista. I allowed the media firewall exceptions so I could share the media with the 360 and its in my list. However, the ip test fails in media/live connection test when trying to configure it. The settings are automatic, and the 360 has an IP showing up, no dns though and not from the test.)

Is there a configuration that I'm missing.

Edit* Ignore the title I mixed it up. The 360 can't connect. But vista shows it in my network.
