Well, on the plus side, it seems that this game is officially coming out in the US. According to the GameFAQs board, one of the guys on the 1up Yours podcast (4/4/2008 ~33:00) previewed the US version of the game. They confirm, among other things, that it has Japanese voices with English subtitles.

Hopefully it means no overusage of the word , which literally made me want to punch every living thing in the game when I heard or saw that word.
I'm excited but a bit disappointed that, as far as I know, I can't finish the first game on my PS3 (20 gb). Oh well, this may well be a day one purchase for me depending upon what else comes out at the same time.
The english voice overs in Yakuza are terrible. I don't mind a little cursing in a game, but geez they went overboard... It makes the game feel very juvenile.
I'm getting close to finishing Yakuza, I can't wait.
frickin finally some (unofficial?) news. Too bad it's not coming out sooner though...
According to some German Sega magazine, Sega Europe is supposed to show Yakuza 2 at their Gamers' Day in early May.
Just got this in preperation for Yakuza 3's release (finished the original a long time back) Its good so far. The first 45 mins or so has been all cutscenes and a re-telling of the original game.
