Indeed. I had one moron send me his address so I could pick up a few games from him. He didn't give me a phone number to call him despite repeated requests. I get there when I said I would and when we agreed to meet, and it's an apartment.

He had failed to provide the apartment number or the dial code to his apartment, what a douche. I said fuck it, and dialed every apartment asking for the guy (whose name was not to be found on any of the 50 or so apartment listings). Couldn't find anyone that knew what the hell I was talking about.

I also had some lunatic posting ads repeatedly for something I wanted, I emailed him politely asking if we could meet up to make a deal, and after repeated emails he finally sends me an email "yes I'm still selling the items I've just had problems with scammers coming to my home." That was it. No further responses from him to repeated emails. Just another fucking paranoid, schizophrenic lunatic with access to the INTARWEBZ.

Then I've got the usual idiots posting ads selling stuff I'm interested, with no responses back to my multiple emails from different accounts (as sometimes email from yahoo/hotmail/gmail etc. accounts is blocked). IDIOTS!

I've had that happen before, when I got back home I even see he sent me an email saying oh you're not interested anymore ? I email him from another account and pretend to be interested in it and now the guy has a slight attitude about even being asked simple questions which is what I was hoping for, needless to say that was one nasty email sent his way next. The guy responds all pissed saying you wouldn't say that shit to my face blah blah blah if you've got the balls come to this address..... the exact same address he gave me before! :lol:


Now I just ask directly before I even leave , house or apartment? That is when so many people go oh here is my number i'm in an apartment meet me at this or that place around it. Even that isn't perfect , one guy failed to mention in order to get into the complex parking lot (huge huge complex) I needed to tell the guard at the gate his full name and apartment number. So here I am with a line of cars forming behind me calling the guy asking for the information.
 
Just a general question for our thread: When someone lists, say, 20 sports games for N64, or Genesis, or Atari... do you think they are sitting on the couch with a cold beer thinking "I am going to be rich!"? I once wanted less stuff so I sold my 40" top of the line sammy lcd it was the 4071F which I got at a 60% discount. I sold that along with an xbox 360 with accessories and games for at a large discount just to get it out. I took a hit of maybe 300 dollars. Worst case of sellers remorse I've ever had.

There are some great spelling/grammatical errors in LA related to games...at least I find them pretty damn funny.

One of them is a person in Palmdale selling PAPPER Mario for the N64 (it's actually a decent bundle for the price with DK64, SM64, and Paper Mario, but WAY the fuck out of the way for me. No surprise that someone in Palmdale can't spell for shit, though. Meth capital of the world.
