I think doing that kind of thing it's pointless and expensive. But I've seen some pretty cool one of a kind consoles with artwork professionally paintbrused onto the body. I wouldn't mind something like this...

How is this gamecube worth $286??? Can someone explain this to me?

Craigslist sellers are really brain dead. I seen a black gamecube for $150 on craigslist earlier with nothing included except for the system and hookups and somehow the post got deleted. Gamestop has HUNDREDS of them for $29.99 all tested and working and we got people on craigs asking for $150, $200, $250??

get real dude

Gamestop sells them for $29.99 and even THEY can't move them. So what makes these so special?

Just turned 24 a little over a week ago. The only reason I remember renting those particular games is because they were from a small local rental store that had a pretty crappy selection. And I was playing Kung Fu, Super Mario Bros, Excitebike, etc. 'Course I started playing Mario when I was 2...and I was actually pretty decent at it. Ahhhhhh, memories.

makes sense...I'm 28, not too much younger though. ha....memories indeed! I remember I always wanted Chubby Cherub from this NES tips and tricks book that came with the NES, never did play that game though....probably sucked.

You get a PS2 with an instant library of great games for $400. Wish I could keep it all, but I don't have time to play it anymore and need the extra cash.

----------------

I wouldn't exactly call this a "library" of games. And I don't see anything in there worth $400. Those are all bargain bin games with a few exceptions. Still not worth that much. Unless you have every ps2 RPG known to man this is overpriced.

Must be hoping to dump off all this garbage for a ps3. Wise choice, but your stupidity is overflowing.

Now guys don't get too EXCITED!!!! I made sure to e-mail him first before I posted this here, as I knew you snakes would try and jump on this before me.....I knew because he said "These are not easy to find", I offered him $50....think that's too much of a lowbal....should've offered $75

Techinically, it did not come with every NES made. The control deck only package included SMB, but not DH, obviously because there was no light gun.

true, but there is still a shit ton of SMB/DH out there. Every time I go to Goodwill to check out games there's always at least 3 copies
haha, does this guy not know that mario/duck hunt is like the MOST common game ever? It came bundled with every NES made.
Tell that to those who are flipping Wii Sports. It comes with EVERY Nintendo Wii, however Wii Sports is still highly sough after.

Because kids destroy their discs and parents can't buy them at the retail level.

Yeah but I mean mario/duck hunt..........it's very much the easiest NES cart to find. There's a gaming exchange in the next state over that has a whole shelf of them. Old guy says he has so many he's practically giving them away. They sell for a buck a piece and he includes 1 with every nes sold.

I guess people have had trouble flipping the DSi. Plenty at WallyWorld... and now popping up on craigslist "bought it ... but decided not to even pull it out of the box."

Just an FYI...

Most of these games are on sale this week at Best Buy for $9.99. Check the weekly ad on their web site or the one from the Sunday newspaper. The sale runs thru May 2. You can also purchase these games online at bestbuy.com if they aren't sold out...

Bourne
Infinite Undiscovery
Fracture
Smackdown
TNA Impact

Also see the list of games for sale at BB here: http://www.amazon.com/best-buy-vide...CZ3DBQPL8DF9/1?_encoding=UTF8&asin=B000IZWNLG

I purchased TNA brand new at Best Buy on Sunday. And if they are sold out at Best Buy, you could always do price matching at Wal Mart...which is what I did for the Bourne game since BB was sold out of it. Then you can have a brand new, sealed copy of any of those games for $10.

Harley Fat Boy Stolen - Help (Madison)

I listed my bike on Craigs List. A guy came to look at my Harley Fat Boy yesterday (4/27/09) afternoon in Madison. I let him take it "around the block" and he never came back. I called the police but he has not been caught and I have this horrible feeling the bike is gone. The man was African-American, around 6'1" with a thin build. He had a woman (African-American and overweight) with a child around 8 years old (African-American and overweight) in a Lexus SUV that dropped him off.

The phone number he called from was 414-552-8618 (he said he was from Milwaukee). If you see this number come up on your caller id, PLEASE CALL THE POLICE. Please respond to this email if you have seen that number. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Wow... Lesson learned on this one.

Do people even look around a little before they post items for sale?Do people even look around a little before they post items for sale?

My guess is no, and the ones that do just check ebay and go off the highets price they see...

Why would you post something like this? $50 isn't even that far from eBay prices.. and obviously most people on craigslist expect you to negotiate with them. If you guys keep posting things like this.. you're gonna have to include about half of the ads on craigslist. You all should keep this thread for really ridiculous ads.

Also, LOL at the bike story!

why would somebody pay that much on ebay? The fact that you can pick up a gamecube console for $30 bucks at gamestop or Gamecrazy makes this ridiculous. I doubt it this person will negotiate down to $30. And even if they did go down to $30 it's stupid to think that anyone will risk getting robbed, or getting a non-working console from some stranger on Craigslist when they can go to a used game store and buy it safely and a at least have a receipt to exchange it if it breaks.

Now the bike story.......

Who let's somebody test drive there bike?

And if you do....at least ask for the guy's i.d. and car keys or wallet, hang onto it until he comes back...

but....who the fuck let's some stranger test drive their motorcycle?????

I wouldn't even let my own cousin test drive mine..

I swear our gamestop has an entire ROOM full of them. Silver, black, grey, purple. They can't even get them to move. $29.99. Someone was asking $150 for one without games and the post got deleted. Probably because I called him out.

here's another one

http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/tag/1136814201.html

And yeah why would you let some guy you never seen in your life take off with your bike? At least hold the guys money or his license. I wouldn't even let someone sit on it if it was mine.

I don't think you get it. There's nothing ridiculous about asking $50 for a GameCube. First, that price is negotiable unlike GameStops. Second, not everyone likes shopping at GameStop. Third, he might have games and other stuff with it. Fourth, he might sell it for less than what it costs at GameStop. Fifth, none of the previous 4 arguments I've made are even important. The only reason why that ad shouldn't have been posted is because this thread is for ridiculous craigslist ads, and that one was slightly overpriced at best.
