Some guy on craigslist today had an NES with 30 games and a zapper. No price listed. Alot of decent carts, some crap. Emailed and asked how much he was looking for. Says he wants $400 because "thats what the games are going for on ebay". Umm.........no thanks......lol
 
yeah i did. I just can't see myself shelling out 400 dollars for an NES and only 30 games. I asked if any of them were boxed and they weren't. He had Megaman 3 and 4, Adventures of link and a few other decent games, but mostly common stuff. At a last ditch effort I offered him 75 and no go. Sigh......

The inside/outside flea market on the border of the next state is a solid ground for me. Craigslist, no go......

hunting for games in the wild is getting really difficult now, just think, how hard it will be in the next 4 years

I have found that anyone referring to the controller as a "remote" in their ad are pretty much clueless. It is almost guaranteed to be a rip off at that point.

Actually, the ad says KIDS, so there's her problem right there. The little rugrats probably play the damn thing with sticky, gooey fingers and muck/scratch up the games to the point where they no longer want to play without straining the systems ALOT.

Plus, they probably play the shit out of the systems, so that'll definitely contribute to the multiple failed systems.

If anything, a new system with a replacement plan for 2 years from Best Buy would be her best bet. Of course, she's looking for a free or nearly free PS2, so either she's broke or just too cheap to keep buying stuff for the kids to break.

At least I was taught early on to value my stuff and not use game discs as coasters and not play when my hands/fingers are all sticky.

yeah, he seems to be equating "boxed" with "sealed". a lot of his boxes don't even look that hot. he might get somewhere near what he wants if he parted everything out on Ebay, but he's not discounting much for buying it all together. he basically wants full price on everything without having to do the "legwork" of selling individually.
