i have a school of 10 bad ass red belly piranhas for trade. i paid 25 for each fish. 250 for all. they are fun to watch. tear mice up fast. they will shread a live cat fish in seconds. if you have a fish tank and would like to trade let me know. thanks. ill consider all offers and all xboxes. id like a slim ps3 and would throw some cash in.
If those Piranhas are as "bad-ass" as he says then it sounds like a fair trade to me.

would like to know what is a good price to sell a BC 80GB PS3 system on Craigslist

Sony plastation1 collectiable - $500

I have a good conditioned Sony play station one collectible it includes the original Tomb raider II and two controllers all wires and in working condition this is a bargain figuring i have two plastation 1's and they are both valued on eBay at a thousand dollars Iam selling my extra one but this one does not come with a memory card. This is a collectible item do not buy this to play this is to preserve and sell when the value increases this item is currently worth a thousand dollars Iam selling it for half. the PlayStation is gray one controller is black and the tomb raider still works.
Maybe I should list mine on ebay, since it's worth $1000, lolol

selling an electronic item that needs to be plugged in to see if it works in a parking lot where there's no outlets to plug it in.....perfect scam setup

It really depends on the deal you're getting. I have bought some electronics without testing them, but I made sure that the price reflected that. It's pretty hard to tell if modern electronics work correctly without extensive testing. This is leaving out the fact that I'm not letting random people into my house as a routine. I don't go into stranger's houses as a matter of routine.

8 PS2 games for $75... Guess what the games are...

I had to bold the bullshit.
Alright, so I sent the guy an Email that said this:

Alright, so I saw your ad, and I'm here to help you out a bit!

You've got maybe $30 in games there, tops.

I'll show you:

Madden 04 - $.88: http://www.videogamepricecharts.com/game/playstation-2/madden-2004

Madden 05 - $.63: http://www.videogamepricecharts.com/game/playstation-2/madden-2005

Madden 08 - $2.25: http://www.videogamepricecharts.com/game/playstation-2/madden-2008

MLB the Show 07 - $1.59: http://www.videogamepricecharts.com/game/playstation-2/mlb-07-the-show

MLB the Show 08 - $5.00: http://www.videogamepricecharts.com/game/playstation-2/mlb-08-the-show

SOCOM II - $1.88: http://www.videogamepricecharts.com/game/playstation-2/socom-ii-us-navy-seals

ATV offroad Fury II - $.87: http://www.videogamepricecharts.com/game/playstation-2/atv-offroad-fury-2

007 Nightfire - $1.98: http://www.videogamepricecharts.com/game/playstation-2/nightfire

A total of $16.96

Don;t take this as an attack, I'm just trying to help you sell your games by pricing them right. Nobody is gonna pay that much for old sports games on the PS2.

And just to let you know, the site I linked to for all the games averages how much each game sells for used for each month, so it's not like I'm lowballing the totals for you.

Honestly, even taking them to gamestop or Mega Media Xchange, you might get $10 total, so hopefully you can make a few $$$ off of em...

Well, it worked! The guy lowered his price!!!!.... To $50. He's in the mindset that those 8 games combined are still worth $500 new... Ehhh...

8 current gen new releases are not even worth $500.

Here is something I found browsing
. Nothing amazing, just thought it was funny how the guy wants full price for an opened item on craigslist, using the good ol' excuse that I just want to get my money back. I don't understand why people think craigslist is a store, where they can get a full money refund because they do not like something.

Seriously, it's just like, why would I not just go to the store and buy one that's actually new for the exact same price? I don't care if you never got to use it, or if you want to just get your money back.

^I put a want ad.. and a guy just send me an offer to buy his used SF4 for $40 and not in my area even though I specifically said where I'm willing to meet on my ad. I'm in Irvine CA, and he's in La Habra. :(

Karkyco, did you post the reply ad to the Chrono? Somebody did. :)

I don't understand, do people just post ads without looking up the prices, or do they still post ridiculous prices even though they know.

if this guy was smart, he would buy another unopened remote from walmart and take that one back to Gamestop.. then take the opened remote to walmart.

Well here's a first -- one of my CL ads got a spam reply from an actual local store trying to get my business! Usually it's just get-rich-scheme spam with links to shady sites.

Well here's a first -- usually the spambots that respond to my CL ads are just trying to scam me into some sort of pyramid scheme or click on a shady link that will try to con me out of my money. Because as they try to convey in the spam, there are other ways to make money than selling stuff on CL, right?

But this time it was from an honest to goodness legitimate store that just opened and is local, trying to get my business. CL spam really can't be a good way to advertise, can it?

Let's first do the math boys and girlyboys. You can now buy a used Wii in good shape for about $100.... including at least a remote combo and wii-play or wii-sports...

nintendo wii console - $75 (Warmspring, Rainbow)

Reply to: [email protected] [Errors when replying to ads?]

Asking for $75. Price is negotiable. Just selling the console with cords. No remotes or others.

My wii is bricked. It has the black screen of death. It was softmodded with HBC and at first, it had the banner brick.
I tried to use Savemii but then now it shows nothing but a black screen.

You have to repair it or unbrick it.

Please just e-mail. Thanks.

Last I checked, paperweights were $6.99 at Wal-Mart. fuck

Playstation (1st Generation) - $100 (Playstations)

Date: 2010-01-15, 12:34PM PST

Good condition. First generation playstation comes with two Dual Impact controllers, carrying case and the necessary colored cords. What a steal!

**I really hope for their sake and mine that they are indeed being sarcastic. Pics show a fat PS1, carrying case and two controllers

Thieves usually use that "just wany my money back" line with "NIB" stuff. "I bought this 2 days ago brand new, selling for retail, good deal". If you bought it 2 days ago why not bring it back and save yourself from the aggravation........oh that's right....you stole it...

What the hell is this? I didn't list my phone number in my ad, so I'm guessing this is some bot looking to collect e-mail addresses. Who falls for this kind of stuff?

Congratulations, With placing your ad on Craigslist today, you have been automatically enrolled in the Craigslist special offers telephone program. You will be receiving calls from our associates with several very special offers within 24 hours.

If would like to be removed from the program, please reply to this e-mail with Remove Me in the headline.

Depending on what kind of brick/error this Wii receives, it could very much be easily fixed.

Not a stupid seller but stupid buyer.

Someone was selling 5 64 games for 15 bucks. Included Zelda, Donkey Kong, and Conker. I was the first one to email him, he was suppose to write back or call me w/ his address.

He suddenly contacts me and relents saying some guy just got a hold of him, and had a terminally ill kid who loves in nintendo and really wants the games and would drive the hour to get them.

He tells me all this, apologizes, and says he's going to be moving and selling the rest of his games when he finds them and he will email me first.

I tell him that the guy is obviously lying because donkey kong and zelda are pretty rare, and conker is really rare. The guy seems kind of genuinely pissed but says he doesn't want to call it off since the guy is driving there with his address and phone number.

Usually I would say the seller was just backing out, but he emailed me like 4 or 5 more times afterward where usually if they are backing out they just never get a hold of you. I didn't have his address or phone yet so I couldn't do anything to him.

If this is true, I hope he tells the guy to pound sand w/ his terminal ill child in tow.

Buying and selling on Craigslist is that simple -- buy and sell. Adding a lengthy story on why you need to buy or sell is just unnecessary and therefore always BS.

I don't have a link to the ad, but some guy was selling Dead Space and Mirror's Edge and some other bargain bin title and wanted $80 for the 3 of them. I emailed him and offered $10 for Dead Space, and he responded with "how bout $30 it's practically new" I just laughed and told him I could buy it brand new from Amazon for $18. Haven't heard from him since.

Don't get stuck only playing video games!

You want to get the most of your PS3!
You want to use your PS3 for PS3 video games AND you also want it as a computer.
You can use video chat with Skype, surf on a 100% web browser like Mozilla, enjoy streaming video and every other computer application.
You can use Office software like Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Connect your iPod, use Linux, develop graphics.
You can finally use the PS3's extremely powerful graphics editor for pictures and movies.

This is a 100% legal modification, designed by the engineers at Sony for all the 2.6 million and growing PS3 community.

I know he's just installing linux on the phat ps3's, but what about the slims? And only 2.6 million? Please update your CL ads.
