YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Picked up starfox. My toys r us has soooo many. Because they are not clearanced marked at all. So if anyone wants to trade for another Nintendo game I want from this deal lemme know :) I'm looking for quite a few.

Found a eyepet playstation move bundle blue sticker for 32$ today. Any thoughts on if its worth keeping?  Having second thoughts on if its a decent deal.

if you bought the stuff separate it come out about same price. Camera is about $10 or $11 and the move controller about $18 to $25 and the game itself been $2.99 many times before at newegg and as cheap other retailers to

It was Fall of Cybertron. If it's still there I'm gonna grab it, that's the cheapest I've seen it locally even used and I don't see it around often.

I think that bundle was a Toys R Us exclusive that's maybe a little hard to find now, if that's a factor (just looked, and it's going for over $100 new on amazon). But, ya, at $32, it's still a decent enough deal for a move starter kit if you're looking for one.

 
Went back and picked up Fall of Cybertron for $24.  I went to GS before to see what the price would be with the 20% off for two used, TRU was still cheaper. 

As a bonus I found a single copy of UMvC3 for the Vita that I had apparently missed the first time around.

They had tons of WiiU components available.

Afterwards I went to BB to get Assassin's Creed Black Flag on the DOTD and ran across two copies of UMvC3 Vita at 40% off tagged price ($23.99).  If anyone wants one let me know, it would be $14.40 before tax.  (prefer trades)

BB also had 40% off rose colored 3DS ($169.99) which would put it at about $100.  Of course those are YMMV.

Did not see any good 3DS games.  Several other good Wii U games (Ghosts, ACIV) and some decent 360/PS3 games all 60% off as well.

 
I managed to pick up a spare icarus with the stand if anyone is looking for it. Prefer trades but in any case pm me if you want it for cost + shipping.

Also saw that there was a super Mario galaxy 2 at that store, it isn't on sale and rang up 29.99, tried to price match bby but no go cause they said it had to be i n stock. Should I still pick this up regardless?
 
Does anyone know if TRU ever sold XCOM: Enemy Within? I'm guessing they didn't, but just wanted to be sure--can't seem to find a new 360 copy any cheaper than about $30.

if you don't care about getting the bundle, the 2k essentials collection comes with xcom, borderlands, and bioshock, and i believe retails for $20. bb just had it on sale for $10, and you can find it for about that price on ebay.

That bundle includes the first XCOM game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown. XCOM: Enemy Within is the second, more recent release.

I can confirm the PS3 Ducktales - DIGITAL / DOWNLOADABLE VOUCHER ONLY - is on clearance at $19.99 down to $8

Also...

Castlevania: Lord of Shadows is on clearance for the Xbox 360 only.

Xbox 360 Version:  $14.98 down to $6

PS3 Version: $39.99 stand alone price (physically scanned, not based on price tag)

One last note on interest, as I don't remember seeing this discussed much in the last few pages, but...

I am still having a lot of luck getting Super Mario Galaxy 2 price matched at TRU (price matched to BB at $14.99.)

Yes...I know this not a TRU 'clearance' item as the thread title indicates, but as much as this thread has people continually running to TRU, I wanted to throw this out there as a reminder that it is a way to get an amazing game at a great price!

Just remember to be polite and casual when asking for the price match at BB.  BB's website is sold out, just as most (if not all) physical Best Buy locations are now sold out as well, so just don't be pushy, HAVE IT PULLED UP ON YOUR SMART PHONE IN ADVANCE so you can show the price instead of leaving the work to the TRU employee (who if they are the ones who have to pull it up will see it is out of stock!!,) and just be casual about it.  ('Hey, I wanted to ask what your price match policy is?  Best Buy has Mario Galaxy 2 for $14.99 right now, and it will save me a trip if I can grab it while I am here with everything else.'  CASUAL!)  Won't work everywhere, but it will work depending on where you go, how polite you are, how you bring it up, and also depends on how busy the store you are at is as well.

(I'm curious if I will get 'flamed' for the above information about price matching, but I want to pass this information along if it helps some of you get the game.)

 
How much should Kid Icarus be at TRU? A local TRU is sitting on at least 7 of them, likely because they aren't tagged as clearance.

The game should ring up at the clearance price, correct? This is the only TRU that doesn't seem to have properly marked everything.

$12 I believe. It should ring up if it's not tagged as it's been verified as national.

Boo, just asked 3 associates if stuff ever goes to 70% off. They all said they have never seen clearance go to 70%. Then I asked when the next mark down would be, and was told 1-2 months. And they said I could just bring in my receipt to price adjust if the discounts gets higher. All in all, awesome day considering I found most stuff I wanted and other crap that will just sit on a shelf.

If anyone is able to get a copy of Kid Icarus, and Star Fox, I would be interested in trading for them, or purchasing. I can also see if there is something in particular at my TRU that isn't available for any of you. I doubt my TRU has anything great left, but there are still plenty of WiiU, and PS3 clearanced games.

 
Went to the TRU that I bought Twisted Metal from and was able to get Ico/Shadow of the Collosus for $8 and there were several copies of StarFox 3DS for $12. Both were green tag clearance priced but they weren't marked. Thank goodness for this thread :p

I stopped by my store today for the first time since the sale started - grabbed the last copies of each of these for the PS3:

Skyrim: Legendary - $16

Driver: San Francisco - $12

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine - $6

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock - $4 (came w/ free Soundgarden greatest hits cd :D)

I'm happy with those.  I also saw they had added the Lara Croft statues to the green tag clearance since the first time I went, so they're down to $16 now.  I was tempted, but they had 5 of them left so I figure they'll be safe until the next drop.  What's this I hear about price adjustments if prices go down?  What's the time frame on that & what is required?  

 
Went to 3 toysRus today. Got project x zone limited edition for $8.71 and steel diver for $4.31. Couldn't find kid icarus anywhere. Wanted to buy another copy of the wonderful 101 but couldn't find that either.

I also saw darksiders 2 (wiiU) at $59.99 with a green tag, fifa13(wiiU) $19.99 green tag, sin and punishment: star succesor $9.98 green, drawn to life (wii) 9.98 green.

Was seriously considering getting darksiders 2 for the wiiU since this is the first time i have seen the price this low since it released and it seems pretty rare (the physical version at least.

Edit: checked my receipt again steel diver was $4.31 instead of 4.98

There are actually 95% off stickers they sent in the signage kit for the clearance event. If anything good will be there by then, who knows.

Went back tonight and they removed the tag! Asked a helpful employee who scanned it. And, yes, still on clearance. I also tried a 20% coupon I just got in the mail. It did not work of course. 

I actually have had this headset for over a year and like it a lot. I'm giving it to my brother.

Remember Me and ICO/SotC were definitely PS+ but I don't think the J&D games ever were. $8 is a good price for them though.

He may be like me, there are some games I'd rather have the actual disk for if I can get them cheap - that's why I grabbed that $6 Space Marines. I didn't see a PS3 RE6 at my store, but if I had I probably would have grabbed it.

picked up a set of these a couple of weeks ago as a cheap headset birthday gift for my 9 year old. It has mixed reviews. His bday isn't for a few more months so I wanted to open and test but have to wait until he's in bed. I would not keep for full price. The stupid plastic bar over the top lights up but is not adjustable at all as far as I could tell. It looks terrible on an adult (myself) but my kid will have a smaller head. Earpieces did not pinch my ears as reviews complained about but I did not have them on very long. Sounds ok but the wife had mine on and no matter what I did she could not hear me on her end. I was rushed so I probably hooked something up wrong. Didn't look for youtube videos but I suggest you look there before purchasing or if you are a picky person.
 
Was over there on Friday and most was crap...may head back today quick though see if any markdowns I missed or new...

So does anybody have a list of stuff that is known to be un-marked?  I've seen a few things mentioned which definitely weren't stickered at my store...

 
Grabbed Remember Me (360) and Phinneas and Ferb Quest For Cool Stuff (3DS) both for $8 at my local Toys R Us. Phinneas trades for $14 at Best Buy so basically like buying a $15.40 gift card for $8 and trying the game out in between (I don't recommend it, beat it in under 2 hours and still felt like it was kind of dragging on).

That store was out of Wonderful 101 but told me two other stores have it. So tempted to make the drive (my nephew really wants the game and I know I'll pick up a Wii-U sooner or later), but it's all rainy and crappy out.
