YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

I picked up 2 Wonderful 101 today. If someone wants it, I'll do it for $16 shipped (that covers the game, envelope and shipping with hardly any extra - so that's as good as I can do).

 
any CAG's near the Nashua, NH TRU:  There are several Lara figures in stock, marked $39.99 with no sticker but will ring up $16.99.  Also saw a couple copies of :ps3: Rockstar Collection, :pS3: Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, a number of decent Vita games, and a TON of 3DS accessories all at 60-70% off.

I got a blue one the first week or so of the sale, but that was tbe only one I saw and I haven't seen any since. The blue was a TRU exclusive I believe, and I think that's the only color they carried.

I've been buying the various NECA Claptrap figures since they were first released, I own the four versions that were available for sale. The first one (yellow) was also carried at TRU, and the second one (blue) was carried at other retailers, at least online.

I didn't realise that, thanks for the info. I picked the figure up mainly because it was on clearance as I'm not a Borderlands fan but I have played Poker at the Inventory. XD The figure is really cool. love the Gentleman Claptrap.

For the guy asking, he's with the action figures, but I doubt most stores still have any unless they get a restock.
 
What does the lara figure look like? There's so at my local tru, but doesn't sho w sale price at the self scanner. There was also a bioshock Washington figure that didn't scan as clearance at tee he self scanner that I left there.

The Bioshock Washington figure is not on clearance. It's pretty new. If you find a Brute Splicer, it IS on clearance for $4.

The Lara figure looks like the picture on the cover where she is walking with a bow with an arrow drawn. None of mine had the clearance price marked on her, but it did ring up $16.

 
Ah man, I'd also be interested in a least one of those claptraps. I check the video game toy areas but they're pretty empty except pokemon and Mario figures.
 
No neat Lara figures to add to The Cult or Claptraps or anything like that sadly.

On the other hand I finally bought some toys and there was a lot of stuff I hadn't seen before (including what I bought).

They had the Aquaman/lad pack too but didn't get it since they had a bunch and no one likes them.  No Flash//Kid Flash or I would have bought all four sets.

If anyone buys the Cortana figure make sure to look at it because half of them were missing the light up base as they had all come unsealed from the backing and were taped back on.

for someone who just bought their first xbox 360 only a few months ago, this sale has been nothing short of amazing.  so far i've picked up Silent Hill Downpour, Dead Space 3, Left4Dead, Far Cry 3, Gears of War 3, Hitman Absolution, Remember Me, and Assassin's Creed III (wii u) all for $8 a piece!  it helps i have half a dozen TRUs within a 20 minute drive where i live ;)

i have gotten conflicting info regarding when this sale ends, however.  a couple employees told me it goes till end of the year, while another guy was pretty sure it ends at the end of summer.  anyone here know for sure?  also, do the percentage increases occur at the same time across the board, or is it on a store by store basis?

 
At the price checker if you scan an item part of this clearance it says "Sale Ends 12/31/14" so it could go until the end of the year.

The percentage increases should be the same at each store.

 
hmmm found an Epic Mickey 2 game that had a "sticker" on it saying get $10 off if you also buy the PS Move package or motion controller on the same receipt. Anyone know if it's a in-store thing where you redeem at the register ?? Or something you mail in something in the box or what? There wasn't a barcode on it or anything like a coupon, just had the date underneath but still nothing that says how to redeem it whatever...apparently it expired last year sadly but if it's a Sony promo thing instead of an in-store thing, we all know that Sony codes & stuff still work long after the expiration date.

I just got starfox64 3d. The only reason I got it was because it was the only copy left (I already have the original cart for my n64), and I didn't want to leave the store empty handed.

I'm pretty sure Prim works at TRU, as do I. I've *also* been told July, from my manager. It'll be interesting to see what we have to do to all the stickered merchandise.

 
Was visiting family in Chicago area this weekend and happened to be by the TRU in Highland Park/Deerfield, wherever it is.  Found their last copy of Wonderful 101.  Maybe I'll actually keep it and play it this time lol.

I would go by whatever prim says -- the guy has always been reliable...

 
Would it be worth it to buy something today and price adjust it or just show up at opening tomorrow?  I've never price adjusted at TRU and I'm not sure how they'd react to a clearance price adjust.

If you're fearful of hoarders and resellers, then it may be advisable to purchase it today for adjustment tomorrow. LA is teeming with unemployed (and generally unemployable/useless) el Hoardos/resellers that stalk the Toys R Usesssseses religiously and raid the stores at opening. I'm talking groups of el Hoardos just standing there a half hour before the store opens then running through the aisles grabbing their loot. I've had the horror of witnessing it firsthand a handful of times and it has been that way for almost two decades, since the mid to late 90s.

If you give them your membership information at time of purchase they will actually email you a copy of your receipt (and probably also be able to look it up with your phone number). Otherwise, don't think so.
