Apparently, frosty. I live next to an elementary school...so I guess they're starting at an early age now. This new neighborhood sure seems welcoming now.
 
Using my friend's 15" Macbook Pro right now. This is so nice. The keyboard is AWESOME and I can only hope the chiclet keyboard on my UL80VT will be half this nice. The touchpad is so huge and easy to use, and the scrolling feature is fantastic. I wish I had, you know, $1500 to spare to buy one of these for myself. :lol:

I'm selling a lot of stuff right now to try and afford one. You get an iPod Touch for free if you buy a mac. I just don't think I'll save enough.

I bought my wife a VAIO VPCCW17FX when BBY had them for ~$700 around Christmas. Anyway, it's got a chiclet KB and oversized touch pad and I love it. I hate beveled key KBs now. I do wish it had a trackpoint (eraser stick) though.

When I consider his Macbook Pro was almost 3x as much as the laptop I just bought it doesn't seem worth it, but god damn are they ever nice. I hope you get enough, mang!

Yeah the touch pad has made me not hate touch pads as much. The one on my mom's laptop sucks and I'm assuming the one on mine will suck as well.

Yeah, it's expensive. I'm gunning for the 13" model. Again, I don't think I'll be able to afford. Buying a Macbook is why I'm selling some Criterions, desktop, and iBook.

Wish NBC would take over for the NBA again. fucking piece of shit local abc affiliate fucks me over by blocking the channel out from 7-8pm on the weekdays. So I get to see the first and half of the second, then it resumes halfway into the third quarter.

My area just got fucked over when San Francisco's ABC payed the San Jose ABC station to shut down. So in the end my area gets a bastard cable only ABC station.

"The station simulcasts the signal from KGO-TV (including ABC programming and local newscasts) for part of the day and opts out of the station's signal during programming which KGO-TV is only allowed to show within the San Francisco Bay Area under syndication exclusivity."

I see where I lost you. My game starts on time but I'll miss part of the game when the channel blacks out for an hour in about 45 minutes from now. So at 8 pacific the broadcast will just pick up exactly where the live broadcast is at.

Oh that's shitty. They cut in for local news at 8? Who the fuck does local news then?

I don't even get CBS HD for some reason. I never have any problems with ABC though.

Seriously? That's terrible. You would think, considering what an hours worth of air time can cost, they would at least show infomercials or some shit. The only time I ever get anything similar to that is like 3-5am on CBS.
 
I need to buy the second season of True Blood. I watched the first season a few times over and really enjoyed it. The extras were crap for the most part, but the show itself is fun to watch.

I must have missed it, manthing.

Well, they're identical except for the case, ram, and video card. Right now it's the video card that's making me want it. With that said, I'll get a macbook if I have to. Frankly, I just need a new laptop. My ibook doesn't hold a charge at all and slugs through the internet sometimes.

I need someone to buy my criterions and my desktop!

How old is the iBook? My iBook G4 is in the same spot. I'm surprised it still works with all the stress my sister puts on it :lol:
