My copy of Puzzle Quest for DS finally got here today!! :bouncy:

Ordered it on April 24th, not going to complain, since at first they gave me a delivery date range of the end of May to the middle of June. :whistle2:#

Where'd you order it? (Buy.com?)

Damn addictive game.
I have the multi-room DVR with Verizon which is awesome. Only downside is that you can't stream HD stuff to another box. It's dual tuner of course.

The only downside is it's just a single HDD on one DVR to feed everything. Has a 160GB HDD and can hold a good bit more than my old Cox DVR, but it would be nice if they opened it up to an external HDD add on. I think it could fit 70-80 hours of standard def (each hour seems to take about 1%) or maybe 18-20 hours of high def (each hour seems to take 4-6% - varies by channel it seems like.) So it's not large enough to record everything I'd ever want to save but if I limit it to stuff I'm interested in enough to watch within a week or two I have enough room. Given the option I'd probably add a 200GB+ external HDD.
Shame they didn't pop an eSATA port on it, like they Tivo did with their Series 3 unit. Found an article on Engadget on how to add in a new drive, and it's pretty easy. I give Tivo bonus points for adding that little option in, so you won't have to crack the case to add in a new drive. Big issue with the Series 3 is that it doesn't support the Home Media Option, which is the ability to shuttle shows around between Tivos, as well as dump them to a laptop/PC for viewing and burning to DVD. Once it is, I might replace my Tivo attached to my HDTV (the 140GB w/DVD recorder) with it, so I can add in HD via the Tivo + CableCards.

With my Tivo's, there's 2 80GB units, 1 60GB unit, 2 40GB units and 1 140GB unit, so there's a bunch of capacity, spread around between them all.

Amazon. When I ordered it I knew it was on order, but figured I would have myself a backup incase I didn't find a copy at a B&M store around here.

I had no luck, and was glad that it got shipped out quite a bit sooner then I had originally thought.

I believe it does have a sata port (and 2 USB ports) although from some google investigating Verizon hasn't enabled them. The front USB drive does have power though as I tested it with my laptop's cool pad.

Actually from what I read some of the DVRs have a sata port and some don't even though they are all the same model... Don't know if mine does as I didn't look when the guy popped it in my entertainment center and since the port isn't active anyway I haven't felt like pulling it out to check.

wtf I ordered ground shipping with my wii so it should come in 3-5 days. I'm thinking they're going to ship it ups or fedex. Nope in the delivery email its being shipped by usps. Which I'm hoping means It'll wokr by the time it gets here, or its well packaged.
and watch the stock plummet once people stop buying the shit to play the same damn mini games over and over again.

4rl DAWG! lulz.

Hi OTT.
Methinks GMOOJ has lost it.
Well I did get slammed into a 14' tall concrete viaduct wall going about 75-80mph in a freakin' Hyundai Excel a few days ago, so my brain is pretty sloshed around.

You sure it's not all that reggaeton?

Just kidding, hope you're alright.

Oh yeah and I'm watching The Daily Show off the DVR yesterday and there is a crawl for a minute or two after each commercial saying something like "ATTENTION cable operators only. This analog feed will be disconnected on May 15, 2007. Please contact Motorolla at some 866 number to ' Uh, does this mean no more Comedy Central on May 15th? They better get hopping on this...

Eh, just walk it off. That's what my coach always told me.

Condemned 2, sweet.

Now just announce it on PC... with Sega throwing support at the PC lately with original IP's, and every one of Monolith's games appearing on the PC, I'm not worried it'll come out, just want some sort of confirmation.

How was the first one? Never played it, but it looked interesting.
Yes usps is more rough with packages then any other company sans dhl.
In it's factory box it should survive some rough treatment. Plus no HDD and Nintendo knows how to build stuff that can take a hit. /jinx
They'll probably put the box in a box. And it's packed well. Not a big deal.
With Amazon packing well = throwing a couple of those air void bags in the box with your stuff. Of course it's better than shipping a GBA game in a bubble mailer.

If it has one. I really should pull it out and look. Thing has about 10 cables coming out the back now and I dread having half of them pull out though.

Just got some coffee. I always think of shrike when I get a cup now. :grouphug:

Nintendo does make the best products when it comes to game consoles.
But still I just want to know that my baby will be alright during the trip.

ah what the hell I just blew my nose, and air shot past my eye via the tear duct.

I'm sure you could be associated with much worse things that you DON'T drink.

Anyone have any advice about buying a new bike? As it turns out, the one I got in fifth grade is too small, and thus, impractical.

Also, now I must go to work. On another beautiful day. :whistle2:x

Don't buy one from Wal-Mart or wherever. Get one from a real bike shop. You get a much much better bike spending a few hundred extra. Also take a test spin.

There are all kinds of other choices such as what type of bike, how much you really want to spend, etc etc. Personally I'd get a lower end model from a real bike shop if you are just a casual biker.

Afternoon OTT.

How many oh how many licks does it take to get to the center of an tOTTsie pop?

Most likely the feed that your cable provider is getting is being switched to an digital sat feed. I would assume most cable providers have already got it in place to have it switch to that feed by May 15th.
I'm sure you could be associated with much worse things that you DON'T drink.
Isn't that the truth.
Does that include your new co-worker?
I pray she never finds out... until the time is right.

Roufuss: what? I demand details.

On another note, new cell phone. Seems nice. I will murder it with studying later.

Edit: Found the thing Roufuss was talking about. And as I said there, I'd probably go, but tomorrow night is my game night with friends. But if I did, I'd try to get Liquidnight and DrMarioKart to meet me there.

You already posted in the thread.

I would never just invite random internet strangers over to my house where there would be a ton of games / systems / televisions... it's just asking for trouble, I think.

It would be different if you knew these people beforehand, like an OTT party, but inviting people you've never met or even talked to?

What the fuck?

If I had lots of money, I would set up an OTT party. Fly everyone there for a few days or something.

That would be fun.

It would be in Shrike's city. We'd all go walk on his lawn.
