I went to the one in Arlington VA and it wasn't as cool as this one but I got alot of freebies. Did terrible on the competition tho as Ive only played Wii a couple times in my life.

Where's the old collection thread? I posted in there once but the place that was hosting my pics went down. I easily put some of these collections to shame with over 30+ different consoles and hundreds of games. And they're not even padded with sports games or too many FPS's. No movies either, the only DVD's I have are animated shows that are or were canceled.

Nah. What good is cash if you can't enjoy it? I'd rather be collecting games than traveling or going out places. Besides a few of the games I've held onto are worth more than I paid. Thanks to the poor market and smart shopping I almost never pay full price for a game so what I have cost me far less than what it's worth.

The collector in me absolutely loathes GH games. Unless they are like ME1, Lost Planet Colonies, Silent Hill 2, etc... that come with extra content only on the GH version.

I can name every GH game in my collection by heart:

PS1: (I only got these cuz at the time the Black Labels were going a bit too high for me to justify at the time getting extra BL's for play copies, my copies in my collection are all mint)

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (been too lazy to search out a regular edition)
Mass Effect 1 PH (x2, 1 sealed)

Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec (this doesnt have GH anywhere on the box or anything but the A-Spec version came out after GT3 went GH).

If we count the "Best Seller" on the cover art on the :gc: Mario sports games then I have more than what I just listed. I go out of my way to make sure I never get GH cover arts and cases.

Are you talking about the U.S. version? The game is just called Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec. The version I bought in 2001 is called that and there's nothing special about it, that's just simply the subtitle the game has been given since it launched.

if i am not mistaken those are soda cases. its what 20 oz bottles come in. i had a bunch that were blue from pepsi.
 
So, here is my collection. It's not as big as other collection I've seen over here, but I just start collecting games around 1 - 2 years ago. They are not in alphabetical order as I just took them out of their storage boxes to take the pictures. I'm hoping to move to a bigger place sometime this year. A few Sega Genesis and SNES are missing in the picture but nothing really important.

Yeah I went crazy with the lunars :D, I was looking for Lunar 1 and 2 in mint condition, but the first two sets I got were not completely mint( some minimal damage on the omake box, the pendant...) So, I kept searching for them until I got one pair here on CAG brand new for a nice price :drool:. The Valkyrie Profile Deluxe Pack I got on ebay for about 70.00.

Wow, here I thought the VP was a art print or something. The only Deluxe Pack on ebay right now is sitting at $200. @_@
 
I pretty much keep two boxes of stuff here, CEs and such get sent home to collect dust until this summer, then they get moved to Hawaii with me. :)

Wow, everyone has some pretty nice collection photos. Next time I'm home I'll have to clean up the bookcase my stuff is on and take some pictures. Everyone thinks I have way too large of a collection, but most of them think that more than about 5 games is too many.

Don't feel bad dude, if you're deployed it's probably better to stay mobile. I could call my collection seven containers + what sits in an entertainment center; it's a work in progress!
 
I think I'm going to opt for a video of my stuff. Can't be bothered with the pictures. The gameboy boxes will be annoying though. Too many of them and they're all in a big box lol
 
Stripesorbars, your stuff looks very clean and well taken care of. I think it sticks out when people have collections with ugly yellow Gamestop stickers on case spines. At least Goo Gone that shit off!

and one of my ar tonelico's is from gamestop and i had to flip it(to display it) cause i couldnt peel this sticker off without shaking from worry(of ripping the art).

and i havent tried goo gone, the hair dryer thing seems to work really well(on plastic and some SNES cardboard).

I notice Super Mario 64 DS has some residue on the spine too... but overall those few don't detract from the collection. Now get some Greatest Hits games. :cool:

Here is what I have currently. It is a bit of a downsized look, but I have split off with a few of my older systems due to me not having any games for them. Kind of a refocusing you could say.

Here is where I play it all. Still can't find a place for my SNES :(. So it sits there for now. I would like to have HD dish network but don't feel like paying so I settle for the SD.

I do have other stuff lying around but I don't feel like taking pictures of it all. Behind the 360 games is my Deathsmiles LE box. And I have a countless number of Sega Genesis's underneath my bed. I swear they multiply everytime I look under there.
 
I've been trying but they find the sources any way. My Model 1 produced 2 models 2's and a model 3. Then they spawned a broken Nomad. It's crazy lol.

I am sure that is the case! I was looking to get that Tales of Eternia Premium Box as well for a while, but I could never get the funds to buy it up from dv8 when it was still on his trade list. It will just be one of those Japanese Tales of premium boxes that I don't happen to own, I can add it to the list along with Vesperia, Graces F, and Destiny Director's Cut. :lol:

I was going to do a video instead of pictures this year but I think I'll stick with pictures. Video is probably easier but with pictures, you can see a large section all at once and zoom in and whatnot.

*sigh* I wish I had invested more time with SNES games. I'm trying to get my main 7 (CT, FF3, Secret of Mana, Super Metroid, Earthbound :bomb:, Mario RPG, Link to the Past) but damn, they're crazy expensive. I should have Mario RPG soon and have CT but it's in terrible shape.

Those are quite cool N64 drawers you have. I only have one N64 cart as it is and it makes me want to own one or two anyhow; they're that nifty, convenient, and sleek! Is there anywhere that I can pick them up for cheap? I only see the single row version on ebay, at a rather steep price for a bit of wood and plastic.

The plastic cases hold 12 GB/GBC games each and all are full. The box on the right is full of GBA game and e-cards. I have the boxes/manuals for every GBA game, 90% of the GBC games, and some of the GB games in storage.

I'll post close-up/more detailed pics of the game room later.
I also have tons of promo stuff/misc other game-related stuff in boxes that I haven't found space for yet.
