Your collection - post a photo - show us what'cha got!

Shifted my anime collection around a bit due to all the extra anime coming in from all these sales, so basically had to re-organize where my anime blus go. I'll have pics up sometime this weekend after I receive some more boxes of stuff. :3
lol.. 9? Were you thinking about starting an army? That's insane, those things are huge, I'm even thinking about throwing my helmet away.
Don't throw that away the helmet. Give it to me next time we meet up for a trade/deal. Haha

Can you imagine 9 cats with those helmets on?

1 of the KZ3 was for a CAG that didn't come to the last meetup, I should still see if he wants it. 4 or 5 of them are 'open box' I think I was going to return them, but ran out of time. There is a BB that is a problem store (more so a couple of employees) and they always give me the damaged stuff when I come in for store pickup. They even stapled the pickup sheets onto the opened KZ3 boxes.

I made sure they were complete and that the games were sealed when I bought them and the 'customer service manger' got pissy with me for looking them over. I think in the long run I got him fired after multiple problems, so the universe balanced out. I still want to write a letter to corporate about him pulling the price stickers off of an item and telling me it was a different price, but now it has been 2 years, so I guess I will let it go. Plus if he did get fired (I'm assuming he did since I don't see him there anymore) there probably isn't much they can do.

Sorry for derailing the thread again.
Doesn't seem to be private. I can look at it just fine. But maybe that's because I"m signed in my PB account.
Yeah, that is what it is. :applause: I guess you have to be logged into photobucket to see it. I checked and all of my pics are public.

They still need a better way to link to it without a login.

I tried logging in and when I clicked the links it would redirect me to my recent activity. Photobucket sucks now damn.

Yup. thanks! I used to find better stuff. I haven't finished posting my finds this year, but it is not nearly as good as the previous years finds. ;)

If everyone subscribes, I will be posting the rest of my finds here: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=313065

Finally got my apartment mostly cleaned from moving in. Here is the layout so far. Also thought about laying out the games to take pictures for archiving reason but thought it would be a mess and not enough people would care to see individual titles vs the collection as a whole.

The overview.

shelves from left to right:
anime/tv/most watched DVD and Blurays & CEs (pile to the left is my trade pile)

Middle shelf (top to bottom): loose SNES, N64, boxed Game Gear games, DS CEs, 3DS games, Odyssey, Atari 400, Atari 2600, Pico, 32x, Intellevision, 3DO, Seca CD, Saturn, long box PS1 and big box PS2 games. On top are more CEs for different systems.

The big shelf. All shelves are packed 2 deep. Top even more CEs (mainly PSP). Top shelf back all loose NES games. Top front more NES games with boxed Master System games. 2nd top back boxed GB/GBC/GBA and boxed NES games. 2nd top front boxed SNES. Middle shelf back DS games and some Wii games. Middle front PS3. 2nd shelf is all boxed Genesis games. Bottom shelf is all DVDs (my complete sets of Ghost in the Shell SAC 1 & 2 are down there).

The game setup.

Controller bins/Vectrex/and the blue shelf. The blue shelf is 2 deep and has the rest of my Wii collection, my largest collection which is PS2 games, and PSP game behind that. On top of blue shelf is Turbografx and Dreamcast games.

Not seen in the overall pic at the top.

PS1 games and Gamecube games

My big red 6 slot bad boy. I oiled the wheels before the move, hence the tarp. Also this is a bitch to move (nearly 1.5 times bigger than normal Neo Geo MVS cabs). Nearly crushed by father moving this up the stairs. I have to figure out how to "deconstruct" it before I move again.

and finally my board game collection (video game system boxes on top with my girlfriend's high quality DDR mats). Don't worry there are some video game board games in there, a few Pac Man games and a Donkey Kong Pog toss game (?).

I forgot to take pictures of my closet that houses the really big CEs like Steel Battalion, Skyrim, and Halo Reach. I hope this tides you guys over until some of these other guys post their collections *looks at slowdive and wiggy

Thanks! I remember thinking..."I've never seen that one before", but I didn't realize it was selling that high!

Your collection is much more impressive than mine! I really like the last pic with the boardgames and boxed stuff! :applause:

The only thing that might be a positive about my collection is the fact that all of my retro stuff was bought for under $1 a cart on average at garage sales and thrift stores. I didn't buy it on ebay or anything like that. :)
I wish I had the amount of open space you have =(
Yeah, I'm more jealous of the space than the collection.

Drools. But so awesome! Lol.

Personally, I prefer being able to see what each individual game is. A collection as a whole means nothing to me.

But like the others, I am jealous of that open space. And I quite like setups that have the game systems lined up neatly and next to the TV, though I could do without the crates.

Same. He obviously has the money to replace warped milk crates with expedits from Ikea =P

yea same here. i love seeing them all organized according to the persons tastes and style gives it that unique style.

I thought they were milk creates... (man, haven't seen milk creates in ages). Didn't realize they actually sell those.

I don't think they look that bad. It works fine with his setup. It just looks like a nice game room. Now, if half his collection was in high end shelves and the other half was in a brown boxes, then I'd have an issue.

I love discussion, but this thread has turned in to 30 pages of talk, one collection photo set, thirty more pages of talk. Let's see more pics, people!

Well I just got back home from school for Christmas break. Decided to rearrange my room. Not quite done yet but most of it is finished. The black table where the 32" is will be replaced with my glass TV stand that I left back at school once I'm done next semester. The black shelf on the left will replace the brown dresser against the wall.

Bluray discs are on the far left. 3rd and 4th shelf down are my 3D Blurays. Steelbooks after that followed by regular DVD discs.

LG 5.1 Surround Sound System.

HD DVD Player

Xbox 360.

Nintendo Wii

PS3

Roku box

Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo 3DS XL

Original owned Gameboy

Items that aren't in the picture. PS Vita, original owned game gear, nintendo 64, PS2, Nintendo Gamecube + a bunch of games for those systems. I don't have the room to put them on display in my small NYC apartment. They're in boxes under my bed.

If you have any questions or comments, fire away!

Very nice collection.

As a sidenote, if this guy had some of those Yaffa blocks, then I'd say, "Dude, WTF!". They wouldn't work here.

I wish I could get away with using bookcases for my stuff. I just know I would just end up stacking crap in front of the other stuff defeating the purpose of displaying the collection.

Nice collection can u post a pic of each shelf?

Man, I'd love to track down a Borderlands 2 Ultimate Loot Chest... but I don't know where to find one, not to mention I don't have space for one.

Looking at these collections makes me wish at times I could display mine better. I have so many games that my cabinets are 2 rows deep on many shelves. I dont have the wall space to display them in a single line with as much as I have. Plus I wanted mine to be closed off behind doors that can lock to keep them from my kid as I have a lot of mint complete SNES NES Turbografx games that come in cardboard boxes that are fragile. On top of that, my wife doesnt like the spine of every game showing as it looks way too cluttered for her as there are so many games. It does look cleaner with the closed doors on all my matching cabinets.

It's way better then the cheap shelves you get for under $50 bucks.

I need shelves now myself but can't bring my self to buy that cheap sauder crap. I already have one and the shevles are warped to hell from just DVDs.

I mean fully warped too if I took a picture you could see how warped they are.
