Keep the sealed Persona 3's! You'll be good on those as long as folks are hunting for the artbooks and such. :D For the common stuff you might wanna make up nice mixed sets--every once in a while I see folks buying PS2 lots on ebay for stupid prices.

Thanks! Sold a lot of them recently, kept my favorites. Not shown are my sealed Mario Kart, Zelda TP and Super Smash Bros. The smash bros is being sold at the moment though to help out dv8.

youre basically saying you dont buy games(or you buy all shovel wear like that one collection) if you think $20 is too expensive for a sealed(and old) game.

or youre a pirate.

or you borrow/steal your games.
 
Since I am a glutton for punishment, here are my xbox/360 games. I do not own any Microsoft consoles, so most (all?/360) are sealed. I took multiple photos since the room has poor lighting.

Most were less than $0-2 each thanks to a TRU $10 off coupon. I think the three pack with viva pinata was 50 cents!

I wanted to make sure I got complete copies of the RPGs and exclusives rather than leaving it to chance. I ignored SNES, n64, Gamecube, PS1 clearance and now I am kicking myself for doing so.

I will eventually find a 360 cheap. I saw one for $50 last year at a Garage sale, but it was missing the power brick and the controller. Maybe in a couple of years there will be a decent amazon deal or I'll stumble on one in the wild.

I should have made myself clearer. I can't justify spending that much on a gamecube game to complete my collection when my gamecube/wii is on the other side of the country at home at this moment in time.

Oh, ps. I buy shockingly do buy games. Just not as often as I'd like. But thanks for the assumptions. :)

Quality is on its way...CIB NES games (Metroid, SMB2, SMB3, SpyHunter, Elevator Action, Zelda, Adventures of Link, Ghosts and Goblins, others I can't remember), CIB NES, NES toploader(s), CIB SNES (es), CIB Turbographix16, CIB 3DO, CIB Dreamcast(s), CIB Odyssey II, etc. I just have to dig them out ;)

Oh and Nintendo Cereal Box(es). :bouncy:

I remember that sale and I have about 5-6 games still sealed from it. But why the need for multiples? wouldn't you be better served selling those games to get other games?

Everytime I have seen someone banned, usually everything leading up to said person getting banned is deleted. So it wasn't about mentioning Fire_Thief.

To be honest I always get doubles (sometimes triples if I want to keep a sealed one) in case my brother wants one, if he doesn't it goes up for trade, and if no one wants it I eventually sell it.

The most I intentionally buy of a game is 3 unless it is an amazing deal like my 11 copies of FFVII that I "paid" (actually used 500 points) $5 each or the 15 copies of Parappa the Rappa I "paid" $5 each. They were through my SONY card. I could have bought more, but this was when they were really stingy with points. I actually waited a week between orders (because I didn't think they actually had the games in stock) and I was surprised they still had them on the website. I did get rid of 10 of the FFVII, but I don't think I have listed the Parappas yet.

I am really behind with my game collection and I keep finding bags of games I forgot I bought. I just found 2 copies of Orange Box and Lair I forgot I bought about 3 or 4 years ago @Target clearance.

Some of you guys may call me a hoarder, but I am in the mental problems sense, not the CAG sense (buying up everything to flip). I have trouble getting rid of stuff and I like to research before I get rid of it. Before I joined CAG I think I bought more, but now I limit myself at retail stores.

When I first heard about penny guides I was out of control, but now I only take games I will eventually play or grab the CEs.

All bets are off at Garage sales. I pretty much buy every game and console if they are cheap enough (except for sports titles). Some things I am holding on to because I know I will not get much for them now. Gamecubes are a prime example. I could get $10 for one on ebay, but I I wait a few years I can get a lot more. Interest rates are low, so I don't mind having my money "tied up" in consoles.

I don't keep spoiled food or have 20 cats though! ;)
 
SD21, as long as we don't see you on tv or have the need to be pulled out of the house on a forklift right after they put a hole in the wall to get to you kind of situation, I think your ok!!!!!

I walked into my GameStop to jip them on there $10 for every 3x $2 over games by only trading in games worth around $2 lol anyway....

and the glass case is empty except for the GameBoy Advance stickers on the panels :(

For people wonder why I have so many sealed games, I usually buy the sealed version, then rent the game or buy another copy on the cheap. Some games, I've bought used, and then found sealed copies via here, goozex, ebay, etc.
 
Damn, that's quite a lot of sealed games.

Some seriously kickass collections in here. I had to sell almost everything I owned last year, so I'm just now getting my collection back up to snuff. I'm getting there, finally.

Also, I love some of the shelving solutions in here... sadly, my wife has a decorative vision for our house that doesn't involve wall-to-wall video games, so my collection is currently in bins and drawers. One of these days, I'll pull them all out and get some pics put up, hopefully after I pad my NES and SNES collections back out. :)
 
Finally made my way up to an IKEA store, and got a nice Besta brand bookcase. (I hated how the others had a bunch of empty shelf space up front; a DVD fits perfectly on the Besta).

At least I'll be able to organize what I've got at my apartment, and maybe snap a picture or two.
