Zelda DS Lite Bundle $149.99

Ya so does mine, but all the stores in my area got a BUNCH of them. We are getting less Zelda bundles than we have BA2 bundles left. Plus you add on the fact at BB you get a free starter pack and a free over the hedge game makes for a good buy for parents. Plus this is getting out on the busiest shopping day of the year and the start of the holiday shpping season.
 
That's just a bad scan it's gold all the ads i've seen it looks gold.

I got a paper with a few things on sams stuff when I went there yesterday it has pictures of both DSLites also here's the prices for them...

Zelda gold DS bundle $151.22 Nintendogs metallic rose DS bundle $146.88 of Coarse not really a good deal compared the the FYE, CC, and BB ones. =\

I'm assuming it's more yellow gold than the dark gold from the NWS model? I've unfortunately only been able to see scans of the color, hard to get much from that.

i think it's just the way it looks under different lighting conditions. i sold a laptop that looked totally different when i took a picture of it w/ flash.

The gold color didn't last long for the iPod mini (remember that?) I really doubt the gold color DS is going to be a big seller either, though the Zelda logo will give it appeal to those into collecting. Of course, the gold color will go nicely with the new yellowish touchscreens. ;^)
 
So for being such a "limited" product it is available pretty much EVERYWHERE.

Too bad we don't know exactly how much any particular stores will be getting.

I'm not too much a fan of a gold/champagne colored anything but it may be worth picking up and reselling depending on just how "limited" the bundle realy is.

the better question is how long the store are going to have this. If they are only getting one shipment a year later those will be rare.
 
Hmm..my parents have been telling me to maybe give my DSphat to my younger cousin, which of course would mean I can get a Lite(havent found a color I like other than Japan's blue) The only problem is I already have Zelda:pH and I dont know how this DS color will actually be like..I dont want an ugly puke/diahrea color -_-

If I do get this how could could I resell the Zelda:pH that comes with it for?
 
Yeah, I'll have to sell mine too. I figure at a BARE minimum, especially if the game comes in a sealed case like a retail version, you could clear $20 after all fees on eBay. That alone makes the DS the same price as a normal one. And of course it is likely you will get a bit more than that.

I found out my Gamecrazy already has mine in and set aside (I preordered it a few weeks ago). They just couldn't give it to me today so I'll have to get it on Saturday since I can't get in there Friday.

I already have an Onyx DS Lite but I can just toss that to the kids and we can play some 3-player games (dark blue phat, onyx DS Lite, gold DS Lite :lol:)

The value has really stayed constant since this time last year, pretty impressive.

But my wife just said her co-worker might be interested in my Phat, so I'd probably sell it for $90 cash.

:eek: Ok, Im getting it for sure now, the color is nice. I hope I can get one at the store with $20 rebate, then sell the game for atleast $20 :D
 
OK I talked with the manager at local FYE. They said they will only get 4 bundle in, but after they are sold out you can still pay for it and pick it when they get more in stock. That way you can still get the $20 rebate.

I'll order from Amazon since I'll be able to look in stores in the morning for it, and cancel a couple hours later if I find it. Good price generally, but I'd rather get it from a store so I can return it if I find one at CC (cheaper), TRU (gift card) or Micro Center (two free games with purchase).

But I'll contribute by adding that Walmart has a page up as well, it will be on sale online on Friday.

I just preordered it at FYE.com. I payed full price with tax and $5 shipping, but I'm betting the $5 is more valuable than the effort and gas that I'd have to spend to track one down at retail. If you have a backstage pass card at FYE it was saying you could save 10%.

I expect that the Amazon.com will sell out within 10 minutes of going live everytime they get stock.
 
Decided I'm going to pick this up, my white Lite is completely worn out and I still need to buy Phantom Hourglass!

There will be limited quantities tomorrow, I'm sure, so I wouldn't expect them to stay in stock very long. The question is if/when they'll be restocked.

Awesome. Amazon is now taking preorders (due out today), but they managed to jack the price up to $160.

Edit: And now it's available for order in stock, and they dropped the price back to $150. Ordered! Now if I manage to snag it at the store, I'll get back and cancel this.

Also available for purchase at Walmart.com.
 
Well, I got one at Circuit City, luckily they were held at customer service. But Amazon has already prepped my order for shipping, so I guess I temporarily have two. I'll have to check out their return policy and/or eBay value.
