Zelda: Four Sword Adventures (GC) $14.99 NEW at ebgames.com
Bit the bullet and bought it with Tecmo Basketball, the Tecmo Bowl of basketball games, or something. Will just sit on it till I play the single player when my friend brings his copy over, luckily within 30 days, so returning is always a possibility.

Lo and behold, this week I've made 2 orders for $35.83 and received three $10 EBgames.com gift vouchers as rewards. I'd say that's a pretty good total:

2 games = $35.83 - $30 = $5.83 - $5 PG rebate (LoZ:FS) = $0.83.
Now THAT is how you show your CAG colors. :applause: And uh 6669, what's a screenshot of the price going to do for anyone? You can't exactly print it or anything... unless it's a link to the html page somewhere... which it's not linked properly since it's just linking to imageshack's main page.

Hey 6669 thanks alot for the screenshot. I am at work and banned from going to game sales sites. I called my mom and had her order me the game using my credit card though! I couldn't help but notice the bottom of the screenshot where it says gameboy cable included. Now if I don't get the cable I can raise some hell and get it!

Its a screenshot showing that it includes the cable. People in previous posts were requesting a screenshot of that line included, in case they try to send us the version without the cable. I was just trying to be nice.

edit. You're welcome, Purkey :)

Oh, ic. I was just curious because people were asking if someone had the page saved! But thanks just the same for being helpful. So far since this price drop fad started, I haven't seen EB sell LOZ4S without the cable. Their "new" page has always had that line that the game includes a cable. I wonder if anyone has received theirs without one. You can easily call EB and get one I'm thinking because they have it in bold print on their site... even when it's not $14.99.
i still cant decide if this is still worth playing single player
I enjoyed single player very much and I paid full price at launch. It is definitely worth it a $15.

You do NOT need a GBA to play single player either, but to play multiplayer everyone needs a GBA (no GC controllers).

Its all good :). When DVDSoon.com had this special (for about the same price), theirs didn't come with the cable. Then again, that one had like French printed on it too. I think there's a US version without the cable too, but I'm not sure. BTW, DVDSoon only shipped a few of them, and they ripped off everybody else by charging our credit cards before sending it, then only (initially) refunding us with a store credit.

Well, I finally got in on it! (I know, you're all as happy as I am ;) )

I picked up a used copy of River City Ransom EX along with four swords for 28.18 shipped :)

How many people will be back here complaining that their Zelda was a used "new" EBGames special delivery? Not that there's anything wrong with that; I'll raise hell if mine has been opened.

I've actually only ordered once prior to this week from the website, and that arrived sealed and whatnot... but yeah, when I buy a game new, I expect it sealed if not shrinkwrapped.

"How many people will be back here complaining that their Zelda was a used "new" EBGames special delivery?"

None. That only seems to happen at B&M.

Yeah, the website is good about that, unlike the B&Ms.

I hope I'm wrong, but I could have sworn that there were people that had posted about getting opened new games from the EB website.
a) Yes, it was released in just a game case without the cable, though perhaps not so much stateside.

b) The item number for the one I have on order is the exact same as the one with the free cable. When it popped back at 49.99, even when it dropped again to 14.99, it still said "comes with a free cable," so I am 99 percent sure it comes with a free cable.

If it doesn't, I will argue that the game page said plainly that it did and milk one out of them.
The one I ordered on Tues. just arrived!

They used UPS shipping because it's the big box with the GBA cable.

The game inside is sealed (clearly factory seal).

The single player game is very good (GBAs not needed to play).

A student lent me the game and I played a little. It is very much like the SNES Link to the Past . . . which means sad graphics by GC standards.

At the time, I looked it up on the EB site and it was $30 . . . he thought that was a great deal and I should get one . . . I laughed to myself and thought "oh, Padwan . . . you have much to learn." Even $15 is high but getting the cable with it is sweet.

I have a players guide for it as well (gotten by CAG trade just for this day).

Is it worth getting this for the single player game alone?
I got mine today, and it is the big box with the nintendo brand cable all sealed.
cool! Now I am glad that I have one on the way, great price.

For $15, yes. It's a cool throwback to the SNES glory days of A Link to the Past, although don't expect the gameplay to be identical. There's no open overworld with dungeons to explore; the game merely consists of several stages to be completed one at a time.

The multiplayer really is better, but hey, you're still getting a decent single-player Zelda game with a link cable for $15 bucks, so IMO, yes it's worth it.

Thanks! I'll have to watch out for it tomorrow then. Should've picked it up the other day with MP 2.

Yeah, I got mine today too(I ordered it when it was first 14.99) and it was the big box version, so getting a free game with my GBA cable is awesome. Plus, I love Zelda, so it's a win-win situation.

oh damn... hope I get the extra cable (ordered this right when it was first announced)... then all Id need would be a GBA for 20 bucks from GS to enjoy this with the wife
**patiently waits for $15 price again** :D
.....takes place in line, right behing chickenhawk, awaiting $15 price....
back at $15!!!!

Go get 'em!

Apparently over 100 in stock as of now!
Thanks!

Finally got in on this one.
