That rocks. I'm in for The Fountain and Purple Rain.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a really good time, too. If you're looking for an action/comedy in the vein of the original Lethal Weapon (in fact, from the writer of the original LW) you should check this out.

Thanks for the heads up, Casey. Picked up 2 TMNT's. One for me and another for gifting purposes.

QFT.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is an awesome movie. I really should own it.

Good Lord, Amazon has been killing my wallet lately. Oh well, last day of my Prime Account...might as well take advantage. In for Superman Returns and the Departed.

Picked up The Departed and The Fountain on one order, and Syriana and Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang on the other.

Might make another order or two from the $19.95 movies, though that's it for me on the $23.95 ones.

For those of you that have Amazon Prime: did you do the sneaky 4-way split deal that I see a thread for every now and then, or did you just buy the whole damn thing outright? Is it worth the expense, in your opinion?

picked up The Cowboys, Enter the Dragon, Bullitt, and Battle of the Bulge...I wish there was better selection, but BOGO is very hard to resist:)
In for Corpse Bride (for demo disc) and Dog Day Afternoon (because I've never seen it).

Love these deals!
what demo disc?

say what?

crap. I need to resist, but I've been wanting to pick up a few of the titles on this list. I might end up getting two though because I can't resist a BOGO from someone other than Sony/Disney for once.

Damn, I am in for 6 BRs. This is killing my wallet. It hates me and I am starting to hate myself for all of this spending. The maddness has to stop, please, stop!

i bought it outright and ive def used $75 worth of shipping so far and ive had it 2 months or so

Ok, so do I need to call Amazon on this?

In my cart, I have 2 - $23.95 movies and 2 - $19.95 movies.

I should receive one of each price for free but it defaults to the 2 $19.95.

Its always going to give you the cheaper ones for free. You have to split them up to get the larger discount.

I did seperate transaction for the ones with different prices, ie- both $19.95 BRs, then the $23.95 BRs.

Picked up TMNT, Blood Diamond, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and Gods and Generals (split the orders by price). With the 10% discount on all four movies from my HD DVD player purchase from last November, total came to $35.12 for all four. If my wife only knew how much money Amazon is "saving" me with these deals....

Picked up Departed and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Would have picked up more, but I already have 8 of them on BR, 4 on HD, and 2 on DVD.

I picked up:

Superman
Superman II
Superman Returns
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

And for the record, from the previous sales over the past few weeks from Amazon, I also got:

Deja Vu
Reservoir Dogs
Good Night and Good Luck
The Usual Suspects
PotC: Black Pearl
PotC: Dead Man's Chest
Silent Hill
Casino Royale

God, I'm such a whore.

I just can't do this...I just can't. Hopefully this sale will end before I know too long because I just know that I will reconsider and buy up 4-6 more Blu-Rays. Maybe I should make a pledge that I should at least open the ones that I have bought previously before being able to but even one more.

I did it on my own last year when Amazon had a deal as part of their Christmas promotion. It was $120 for a year of Amazon Prime and a $100 toys and games GC which worked on videogames. Basically a year of Prime for $20 was too good a deal to pass up.

I liked it so much I'm thinking of just sucking it up and paying the full $79 for another year. Why couldn't you have had some deal THIS year Amazon????

First time Blu Ray Buyer (have Prestige for free, but besides that, nothing). Really like HD-DVD more, but now that my bro has a BD player (PS3), I can jump in on the deals everyone always gets with this format.
Had a $20 credit, and wanted PS3-Oblivion (as a present for aformentioned brother), and then needed $5 more for free shipping. Why not spend $20 and get movies? *sigh* Way to go Amazon, you always make me spend money!

Wanted Departed, but no other $24.99 BD, so I settled on Corpse Bride and Dog Day Afternoon. I suppose $6 per item is pretty decent, considering it's a PS3 game and two BD's. My g/f is gonna kill me.
