What I have learned from ECW tonight so far:

A) Colin Delaney swings a chair like a girl.
B) Stevie Richards is indeed.... a jobber.
C) Santino ripped off Cheapy D. ;)
D) Layla has no acting ability at all.

(I also thought it would be cool to do a comedy wrestler after our beloved horse had to be put down and somebody else said it best "the wrestler selected doesn't matter past the first 10 post")

Haha, but Delaney makes Tommy Dreamer look less like a jobber, which I thought was impossible.

Wasn't the Human Tornado the dude that no sold shots to the balls?
 
He missed a lot of moves. On that basket ball huricarina he lands on his head! Whats up with the get kicke din the nuts then a bitch slap! I loved the micheal jackson leg drop though! His twisty bulldog was an original move though. I laughed like crazy with him doing the alpha males finisher. He weighs what a buck ten and people were flying out of the ring.

Sporadic, I love you for doing an Tornado topic. SoCal original, PWG hometown hero, and an all around nice guy. The dude can work too, even if he's primarily a comedy wrestler. Plus, he killed Jack Evans.

Fun fact - Tornado's real name is Craig, and his day job is a software developer. No joke.

I'm all for rotating topic-starters. If I ever get another shot, I'm throwing up an old-school Memphis mainstay.

I didn't realize the WCW thread went beyond 500 just because ZL was doing them... I think I had the Zens confused. Guess I shouldn't try to change my name to Zen Burrito?

And to be completely on-topic, Best Buy is clearancing their WWE "Ultimate Fan editions" of the Rey, HBK, and Cena DVDs... saw them at a local Best Buy tonight for $12.99 each.

I have a topic in mind that would have to be done for one of the next two. If no one objects, I'll claim one of those 2 spots.

Just to editorialize a bit, I'm not the least bit surprised to see ZL get a permaban. He acted like a complete ass (get it?;)) to multiple people on this site and, from what I saw, was generally disliked outside of the wrestling threads. He was the inaugural member of my ignore list and, from my point of view, I'm glad to see him gone. OK, that's all. I have nothing more to say on that subject (unless someone wants to debate it with me;)).

Damn got back from the hospital things are worse then I thought I go in for Surgery tommorow (I was supposed to stay in the hospital today but I dont have insurance and I know how expensive those over night stays are! FORGET THAT!) 4 plates in my face and at least 6 weeks recovery time.

On the bright side who knows maybe that is enough time to miss TWO Chicago shows with ONE injury. That's like getting TWO Birds Stoned at ONCE! I think that is how the saying goes.

Anyway wish me luck as a waste my remaining hours at home spooning yogurt and baby gerber(which is in fact the greatest food in the world and we gotta TAKE THAT SHIT BACK from the Babies. They don't deserve it all they do is cry and shit themselves anyway) until 12:00 midnight in which I guess I can no longer eat. Something about breaking your face gives you the same rules as a Mogui and the last thing we want is to feed a mogui past midnight!

Um, no.

I wasn't even watching WCW at the time and didn't give two shits about him when he came to the WWE.

Same with Hogan, growing up I was a Big Boss Man/Undertaker fan and when he came back, I couldn't wait for him to go away again.
 
TBH, when he came to WWE, I was like, "oh man, it's Goldberg." But I said it with the emphasis one has when someone makes you a sandwich.

Ugh, I hope Hogan never comes back. Everytime he shows up, I instinctively head towards the bathroom, or the remote. Whichever is closer.

ECW had a good show last night - the title matches were either effective (tag titles) or quite good (ECW title, Shelton-Stevie). I dug the black-painted tag belts used in the pre-match graphic, and Shelton-Stevie was the best match Shelton's had since being re-pushed. His revamped theme is good, and I like the giant "GOLD STANDARD" text on his entrance video. The show had too many video packages, but the show's focus was clearly on the matches, which is good.

The AWA show on ESPN Classic was fine - not as good as the Monday night show, which was easily the best overall AWA show shown on Classic, but this one had Brody in a cage, Larry Zbysko cutting a fantastic, enraged promo demanding a title shot, and the Rockers blowing their powerplex finish very badly (Jannetty missed the cross body press portion of it by a mile). The funniest part of the show was a video package for Silo Sam, which also led to some classic '80s Memphis wrestling airing. These shows make me wish that WWE would do more with the AWA tape library they've owned seemingly forever and have done next to nothing with compared to the other libraries they've bought (especially given how big the AWA was at one point).
