I got the same email its in dead space 2 demo emails when it talks about the plasma cutter it says limited time offer dead space 50% off.

I just got this game today after getting it replaced out of warranty from the last EA.com 50% off sale months ago just literally got the game and now i can finish going for my platinum.

Then we "others" need that link otherwise it is only tied to the EA newsletter or whatever you received.

Yeah man, I don't anyone thinks you are lying. I just think we realized you probably need to have gotten the email or some sort of referral code for the discount to work.
 
I also got the e-mail, clicked the link from the e-mail and it took 10 dollars off (to 9.97).

For the 360 version, they send you the Platinum Hits edition (or at least they did for me), in case anyone was wondering

Lucky me i already got it for $10 New long ago and my disc just messed up from being defective and they replaced it for free just got a new sealed copy today and opened it i just had to pay $2 for shipping the defective one to them.

I preordered like last year when they had a thread on here for a killer discount. Got the regular edition Dead Space 2 PS3 ..shipped and all for $41.00

I'm asking them can I upgrade to the special edition for the same $20 off, their seeing if they can do it or give me a promo code.. if so I'll hook ya up

I have one Dead space access code i think if you use it while signing up you should receive this offer since it doesn't expire in till 1/31/11 pm if you want it just add it to your EA account i forgot how. Its just a 5 digit code that you use I'm pretty sure my original code is why i also got early access to the dead space 2 beta.
You might get to enter it by going to the game or somewhere on the home menu I'm to lazy to check.

The demo is already up on PSN store for Dead Space 2

ok it's a one time use code.. But you guys who did the preorder way back when and got this discount (I'll make a new thread for those who did so they can try this too) They didn't even have the collector's edition on the site when we did this deal last year.. when the preorder was first available. I'd definitely call EA and talk to a CSR and I'm sure they'll do the same for you. Guy was really nice

And I already have the DLC for the first preorder I made and got Dead Space extraction.
Not sure if this is on PSN store now but anyone interested in a code for it? They gave me another for this order

Don't thank me. GameOverSuckas sent me the email and I just extracted the link to save him the trouble of a night of forwards. It's just a re-direct.

Considering that I tried the Dead Space 2 demo and my heart nearly stopped about 3 minutes in, anyone definitely should be getting this and the sequel.
