Kinda sorta--it's like Eye Of Judgement and Heroclix smashed into one. Multi-platform video game featuring real, collectible mini figures.

I mean I get that part of it, haha. I was wondering what they were talking about as far as the Web game and how that integrates into everything else. I was going to check it out, but I think the firewall at work is blocking it out so I can't play it a bit just to see what it is.

Also, don't give in gunm, like I'll agree the concept is mildly cool; but the execution is totally setup to nickle and dime you to buy every last version and every last figure; I seriously think any sane person even if they were interested, would spend that money on other cheaper games and see if this whole thing turns into a fad and then you can check it out when Activision and the stores selling this stuff are trying to clear it out.

Yeah, I am trying to avoid that shit like the plague. This is what kills me about these new smartphone games--fucking microtransactions. Argh, a lot of stuff I think my kids my enjoy playing are off limits because I'm worried they'll accidently buy shit in-game.

And WTF i-beez, they won't let you play games at work???

Actually there was one day at work where everyone was required to play Zynga's Empires and Allies and Cityville Hometown, and write a short report. And I mean everyone.

And I can totally understand a parent being scared about all this micro-transaction stuff. I think the iPhone does have something you can turn on to disable in-app purchases though, so you could at least turn that on to be a bit safer if you use iOS. But ya I'd much rather pay up front than these pay as you go models.

I think that you get a code with the toys you buy that you can enter into the flash game and you can earn money or something to carry into the real game. Totally not sure though, I'm just going off what friends have told me.
 
I meant side-scroller... the one that came out yesterday... I just get it mixed up, since to me side-scroller is usually something lke Super Mario Bros.

They should've called it PJ:Shmup.

Yeah, I gotta make sure all my settings are locked on the ipad and phone.

Which reminds me, my old 3G is really showing it's age now. Jailbreak and such really messes with the performance for me.

I'm not that much of an Iphone whore, so I could easily opt for a Samsung Galaxy S II or HTC Amaze, but the wife is holding out for Iphone 5 and doesn't want to get sucked into a new contract that any phone upgrade would bring, so I think I'm stuck unless I can find an unlocked Droid cheap by some miracle...
