The steam client needs a new search feature. I want "Recently Bought" because if I don't install it right after... I end up completely forgetting about it.

You can go to your Account > Account Details page and look at both your licenses and store transactions. They're listed chronologically, but only the store transactions are dated.

Is there a "Hidden Gems" list like there was during the Summer Sale that lists things that are 75% off or more for the entire sale?

I think if you dug up the old list it'd look a lot like the new list.

Yes, always wait til the last day of the sale to see if something might get discounted more. If it doesn't, buy it if you can't wait for the next sale.

Can anyone answer whether you can have both Doom 3 and the BFG edition in your library at the same time, as in does the BFG edition replace the regular library entry in Steam? I want to still be able to mod it (theif mod especially) but you lose that ability with the BFG edition. So I'm asking if buying the BFG edition will screw me out of a vanilla copy that I can use mods with.

Looks like Steam is willing to knock .40 off To The Moon if we are willing to take the soundtrack.

I actually already own the soundtrack, but not the game. I think I'd rather take advantage of GOG's deal, but I need to come up with a 5th game I want.

Damn it! To the Moon was 76% off, but by the time I added it to my cart it was back to 66%. My fault for checking the math first.

so, how is jagged alliance: back in action? is it comparable to XCOM? and while I'm on it what other games are comparable to XCOM? I'm new to PC games and XCOM is my game of the year by a mile.

JA:BiA isn't as good as JA2, which is a steal at $4, although bear in mind that it's an older game with fantastically corny accents and some humor.

You just missed Silent Storm on sale at GOG, so wait for that to come around again for $4.

And before that was the original XCOM, the pack of which should be 75% again in a sale soon (if not now, then Christmas, probably!).

I have a feeling that I'm forgetting a game... anybody? :-#

At Green Man Gaming:

Dishonored - $22.50

Voucher: GMG25-G4VDR-0ZL4Q

Now that's appealing... 62% off MSRP. I don't think we'd get better than 66% off at the Xmas sale.

Wow, Ravaged must have flopped bad. Was $25 on launch, dropped to $10 base price right before the sale.

Wow, was it really $25 at launch? That was five weeks ago. Major flop. Not that I'm surprised.

It's not a very well made game. It actually feels more like an unfinished mod. I couldn't even see myself playing $1 for it.

Judging by the discounts it's getting, the developers are probably on the verge of shutting down and are trying to grab as much cash as possible.

Ravaged is pretty bad, not going to lie. The guys at Giant bomb did a quick look of it, the multiplayer even in the first couple days of launch were barren. Gunplay looks mediocre and downright dissapointing.

As for Skyrim, I honestly wouldnt expect it to be any cheaper that 20. 20 is even pushing it imo, and would probably more fitting in the xmas sales. This steam sale seems very lukewarm, considering Amazon matches nearly all the dailies, and beats them among many of the other titles.
