I ended up buying the UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie series from Bestbuy for $19.99, looked decent enough and if I don't like it I can always make my money back.

If you do like it though you'll have make sure to pick up S3 & 4 as well afterwards.  The set you bought only contains S1 + 2, and was published by ADV at the time.  Later Funi picked up the license and did S3 + 4, so it's a separate release from the set you purchased.  S3 + 4 are way shorter though, and both combined are only about 8 episodes (6 for S3 and 2 for S4).  Not sure if you knew what you bought isn't the full series, but just in case you didn't.

Is the Guilty Crown LE worth the price? Im kind bummed because I bought part 1 when it was on sale but I really wanted the LE...

I bought it from GoHastings for about the same price... but...

THE SLIPCOVER FROM PART2 DOESN'T FIT IN THE LE *cringe*

Spoiler

I know how people feel about Guilty Crown on here, but I for one really enjoyed it. I bought the LE and I couldn't have been more satisfied. I felt like both art books and the box were really nice quality, and everything fits nice and snug within the LE box. I would personally recommend the LE, but it is kind of hard to say that, seeing as you would be double dipping. Guess it comes down to how much you want the LE box and two art books.

Spoiler

i thought guilty crown was pretty good as well. lol

Going to have to stop by Costco this weekend :) Do not own any Ghibli Disney films atm. They announced they were going to bring Mononoke and The Cat Returns also a week or so ago.

What are some other good anime films out there? I currently own From Up on Poppy Hill, Grave of the Fireflies, Oblivion Island, Ninja Scroll, King of Thorns, as well as Wolf Children/Summer Wars.

YES, the two films I REALLY wanted to see on blu-ray.  (since Castle in the sky is already on bluray)

I'm not changing my signature until Busou Renkin, and Trizenon get licensed.

Is Costco like Sam's Club, where you need a membership to shop there?

If you like older TV Shows, Costco always has a bunch of boxsets usually cheaper than Amazon. They just had Black Adder and Fawlty Towers Complete Sets for $19.99, almost half what Amazon wants for them.

Thanks for that, I'll probably pick it up for under $10.00 sometime.

Michiko & Hatchin or any Funimation release with a box (two parters) have Part 1 with no slip and part 2 with a slip (pertaining you bought it soon after it's release). I think I ended up getting rid of the slip from Steins;gate P2 but kept them in Hellsing Ultimate/M&H. They fit but just barely.

Oh I'm aware. I'm way too addicted to those pretty boxes not to be. haha

If I was a member I would be all over those blu-rays and Kiki's Delivery Service! I have never even been to a Costco.

Costco is worth it for the food court alone.

Especially here in Japan, where finding pizza without corn and mayo is virtually impossible.

The food place here doesn't even look at your membership (there's one outside, and one inside).

Ours only have one inside. Used to be able to eat without a membership, but not anymore.

I found something interesting on Amazon.uk for preorder that I wanted to let you guys know about. They have a listing for both a special and regular edition of Gurren Lagann on blu ray. They're currently 88 and 51 pounds respectively. That's an awful lot of money, but even if the price doesn't go any lower it is still sizably cheaper than the Aniplex set.

Of course, you will need a region free player.

1. There are Costco's in Japan. MINDBLOWN

2. As a Chicagoan, the thought of putting mayo and corn on pizza fills me with MUDEROUS RAGE.
