What's your favorite Cartoon?

I just got done watching every episode, special, and movie of Ed Edd N Eddy. Obviously my favorite.

What's yours?

Gargoyles. Show was deep for a children's show.

That said, I think Spongebob is the better than anything I had as a kid.

Now? Or what.

I agree Venture Bros. right now no question. Calling it a cartoon doesn't even do it justice

I like Bob's Burgers ALOT at the moment. H Jon benjamin is sooo beyond talented and his daughter from the show's voice is so funny. I think she is also in Gravity Falls.

I also like Adventure Time for it's mega sweet use of vernacular and John Dimaggio is another one of my favorite voice actors.

animation in general? The Simpsons

animation designed specifically for people 14 and under? tough one. about a dozen different shows from Cartoon Network come to mind. I'm a big fan of Johnny Bravo as well as Dexter's Lab. I also like 2 Stupid Dogs. classic Scooby Doo. Thundercats, Swat Cats, lots of good ones.

If I had to pick one (and I may get some hate for it), I would pick Batman Beyond. I enjoyed it more than Batman: TAS. I'm also a huge fan of Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.

If CGI counts then Star Wars The Clone Wars hands down.  Disney better make good with this new series coming out after canceling it or there will be blood. . .

Courage the Cowardly Dog a.k.a. the MacGyver of hounds.  So long as he was scared shitless you had absolutely no chance against him.

Right now it's Legend of Korra, Gundam Build Fighters, and Pocket Monsters XY. All time...

Eh, I'd be here all day, although some of my sentimental favs are most Gundam series, the entire DCAU, G.I. Joe, Gargoyles, Avatar, Jubei-chan, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Beast Wars, Reboot, Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Lupin III, DB/Z, Pokemon, Fullmetal Alchemist (both series), Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Thundercats, Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, Naruto, IGPX, Munto, Animation Runner Kuromi, Sekirei, Heaven's Lost Property, Outlaw Star, Dai-Guard, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Tenchi Muyo, and Patlabor.

I guess that's a decent starting point.

Did I mention that about 80-85% of my DVD/Blu-ray collection is animated?

Batman: The Animated Series. So many memorable episodes. Add in Mask of the Phantasm and you have an epic cartoon series that will stand the test of time.

I also really enjoyed Avengers EMH. It's a real shame it got canned for a watered down version. I really wanted to see where the series was going. It not only expanded the Avengers Universe but was also reaching out to other franchises like Guardians of the Galaxy, Fantastic Four & Spider-Man. I would love to have seen EMH take on arcs like World War Hulk, Civil War, Annihilation and Dark Reign.

Any and all classic Hanna-Barbera stuff.  (late '50s - early '60s)

And probably Beetlejuice the Animated Series.

Over a 25 year span there's just too many. Watch some stuff with the kids now and I die a little inside each time.

Currently I'm liking Archer, just discovered it.

You need to watch different stuff. Legend of Korra, Adventure Time, and Beware the Batman are pretty good. Recent toons like Avatar, Transformers Prime, Young Justice, TMNT 2K3 are also great. The new TMNT series has its ups and downs, but is overall good too.

The kids are 2 and 1 so these shows might go over their heads, plus I think where I live we don't have the channels with those shows on but I've heard many good things about them.

Ah, yea, preschool shows are pretty bad.

If you get The Hub, I recommend My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, even if your kids are boys.

I love watching Amazing world of Gumball, it's actually an ingeniously-written show.  Of course, I watch Adventure Time (brak's voice was on this week's episode), Regular Show, and Steven Universe.

I watch a whole lot more than that, but it's stuff like Korra, MLP, Transformers Prime, and whatnot.  Actually, I'd like to throw the new pound Puppies in there.  It's a pretty well written show, and not stupid.  It should be able to hold a 1 and 2 year old's attention.  Sadly, it comes on Hub, and I bet you don't have cable, or sat. (I have more, but I think everyone's already mentioned them)

Agree with all of this.

It's hard to say what I'll end up liking, it's so hit and miss, because I have such an odd sense of humour. Because of that, I end up liking the shows that do really random things (Adventure Time, Regular Show, Uncle Grandpa, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, etc.) -- though sometimes they just go in a direction that isn't for me.

Because of this, Bob's Burgers is probably my current favorite... it consistently entertains me and doesn't have a lot of misses.

If I reach back into the past, shows I've really liked are a lot of the cartoon network originals. I can appreciate Ed, Edd, and Eddy as the OP mentions but always loved Dexter's Laboratory best of all. Johnny Bravo was excellent and Cow And Chicken wasn't bad either. Courage the Cowardly Dog was also a long time favorite.

I guess I just love animation in general. :D
