Dallas doesn't take Johnny Manziel, which means Arizona is the next potential landing spot for him at #20. At this point, it's either Arizona or Cleveland unless somebody trades up for him.

Solid pick with Martin there for the Cowboys. I hate them, so I was kind of hoping they would make the mistake of picking Manziel there.

At this point I don't see Manziel going in the 1st round unless Cleveland picks him up. Arizona will most likely take Bridgewater or Carr if they go QB.

John Gruden has a huge hard-on for his dream of Houston taking Johnny Manziel. He just revealed the next act, which is about them trading up to the 1st round to get him.

Paulie won the bet.
I guess the Ravens pick was good, but the only college players I know anything about are Clowney, Watkins, Evans, and the QBs.
EDIT: Wait, the guy's name is seriously Ha Ha Clinton-Dix? Wow.

I would also be entertained by Manziel sliding to the 2nd round.

New Orleans has traded up for the 20th pick. Arizona gets the 91st pick (3rd round) in addition to #27.
ESPN confirms that they're not taking any of the big three remaining QBs with their quick shots of Johnny and Teddy staring at their smartphones. I didn't think we'd be sitting at a point where Blake Bortles was the only QB to get picked by the time we reach the 20s.

Cleveland traded up to the 22nd pick. ESPN is showing Johnny Manziel in the green room, which suggests that it's not for him.
Philly gets the 26th pick and a third round pick.
Edit: It is Johnny Manziel. Welcome to Cleveland.

So...why did the Browns trade up for Manziel?
EDIT: Crowd base? Really, Gruden?
Because they have 15 million picks in this draft and they can make sure that they get the guy they want.

I would've loved to have seen the Bengals take Teddy Bridgewater there. I think Dalton has hit his ceiling and won't ever take them any further than he already has.

Odd move from the Saints ....
Nah, not really. They give up a little to select a potentially dynamic weapon in that offense. I thought it was a good move for a team that has an improved D and an offense that was potentially on the decline a little (esp after losing Sproles).
Because they have 15 million picks in this draft and they can make sure that they get the guy they want.
Yea, KC could have potentially taken him to play under Smith or potentially beat him out during the season (like Kaepernick). Or another team could have traded up before the Browns selected again @ #26. I like the move for Cleveland. If they believe in him, its good value at that point.

I agree the pick itself is good. Just don't think they really needed to trade up to get him.Nah, not really. They give up a little to select a potentially dynamic weapon in that offense. Manziel going to Cleveland isn't too bad. If he succeeds, it's great for a team that has had numerous QB issues for years. If he fails ... Not really anything different from the norm there.

Edit: And they've taken Teddy Bridgewater.

Damn the local radio guy here nailed the pick. Since the Broncos didn't have a glaring need, they could take a chance on a character guy

I think Roby's character is fine. He was arrested for trying to break up a fight. He ran a 4.34 40, very physical for his size and is very experienced as he started for 3 years in a row. He just needs to learn how to tackle better.
I'm not very comfortable with Nate Irving at the inside. I would prefer if they went after one or two of these four, Max Bullough, Kyle Van Noy he plays outside but has the size to play inside, Chris Borland or Shayne Skov. I would really like to have Bullough on the team to bring some heavy run stopping on first and second down.

Great Browns draft, consensus #1 CB, many had Manziel as their #1, and the Browns fleece the Bills for the 1st and 4th next year for only moving down five spots.

I don't know too much about Kelvin Benjamin other than he caught the game winning TD in the BCS Championship game, but he's 6'5" so hopefully Cam can't overthrow him (too much). Any Florida State fans that can chime in and give me some info?

I'm not an FSU fan, but watched him play a lot due to him being in the ACC playing against my Hurricanes. He is very good, raw, but very good. Just a month ago he was going in the top 15 in mocks, but he slid further than I expected. I was talking to my brother about him before the draft and he agreed about him dropping so far. He is pretty much the same as Mike Evans, both former basketball players, pretty much all the same stats from the combine and both are short on experience. I think that is what the Panthers needed, Cam loves to throw to Greg Olsen and he is 6'5" as well. He is not the most accurate passer, so having another big WR will help a lot.

Stevie Johnson has been traded to the 49ers for a 2015 4th round pick that can turn into a 3rd rounder depending on what he does this season.

God damn Buffalo is a horrible franchise. First they get fleeced by the Browns yesterday...and now the 49ers today. That team is never going to win anything.

I always liked Stevie, when he had Fitzpatrick throwing him the ball, 1000 yd WR three years in a row. Its a great move by the 49ers, they have a very solid group of WRs now. Plus they want to trade up and get another one like Marquise Lee.
