I haven't even bothered. I'm not quite sure why Blizzard even chose to make this game, but I'm sure they'll end up making a crapton of money on it. It just doesn't look remotely interesting. On the rare occasions I have the urge to play TF2, I can . . . play TF2.
That's like saying "why do other developers even bother to make military shooters when Call of Duty is around". All these companies just want money and if they think they see an opportunity to make it, they'll take it.
Seriously...I could also go for the addition of some old-school modes like FFA (Free For All) and/or a Team Deathmatch; and any other new type of game-modes they want to add too.
The problem with those types of modes being added is that the game is not balanced around characters fighting 1v1, and a lot of the characters work in a rock/paper/scissors manner. You'd wind up with half or more of the characters not being worth using at all in deathmatch.
I share the sentiment of boredom with Overwatch, but I'm a bad judge since I've burned myself out on it after playing 50+ hours since October.
So the bros played Garden Warfare 2 last night. It was fun, with some modes better than others. Overall though, it didn't feel different enough than GW1 to justify a full price purchase (at least for me). It has more levels and characters, but just felt like more of the same.
Lost track of time last night and sadly missed Garden warfare with you guys. Hopefully it goes on sale cheap to do it again sometime.
