Hookers for health regeneration?

This reminds me of seeing Watchmen (for the second time) in the theater and some mom brought in two very young kids (maybe 8-9 years old for the oldest and the other a few years younger.)

Anyhow, they made it through the brutal fight scene that starts the movie but were gone shortly after the lesbian kiss in the opening credits.

Your post made me realize I remember nothing about that movie other than the ending and Dr. Manhattan’s blue dong.

It still amazes me we can literally commit genocides in games but tiddies are TOO FAR....

They were very specific in saying that the problem was that the sex featured actual people instead of animated ones. I guess that opens them up to a liability they aren't willing to indulge.I can imagine how that might be abused and would be incredibly difficult to monitor. Imagine a minor or someone who did not consent being depicted in a game hosted by Steam, It sure seems like something that could happen.

I don't personally care for the sex games that are on Steam because they tend to be dumb or make me feel creepy. I don't have any problem with them being there though. And given that I just wrote a big endorsement of Red Dead Redemption 2, I clearly don't mind games with sexual themes or violence.

I think it's just about that liability.

I think it's worse that people wanted to be such fucking creeps that they're outraged about an FMV pick-up artist porn game being removed from Steam. Paying people on Chaturbate is a low level to stoop to, but playing a goddamn game about objectifying real people on Steam is creepiness bordering on sexual predation.

The game is basically a joke. It's truly not as serious as that.

Thanks for reminding me of my days working at a video store. I got to have the "...but is there any *whispers* sex?" conversation so many, many times.

If you own a Deep Silver title in your GOG library, you can get the game Deadlight: Director's Cut for free.

Just add it to your cart to see the free price.

Apparently you're correct, at least for this video:

Sex isn't allowed on Youtube either, but it looked like ending was honestly him eating her food taco and not euphemism taco. Game was never on my radar, and watching someone's scripted, live-action dating scenes didn't help it any.

Note that if me posting the video makes anyone feel uncomfortable, then that speaks directly to the topic of it being removed from Steam.

Steam just doesn't like adult games. If it's of the really cheap kind of 3D pseudo visual novel type or of the sliding puzzle or matching pieces type it usually stays. Stuff like eroge VNs sometimes gets the pass if it is all ages with an 18+ patch somewhere (I post these all the time). Some like Evenicle 2 get passed and later are rejected. Most of Mangagamer's visual novels never touch Steam for sure. It's sad, but it's just the way it is. Go support the adult store fronts, but you usually need a CC for that, which people don't like using. JAST USA is an exception, but most of these store fronts have to use other charging services because of the stuff they deal. BTW if anyone ever wants to ask me about eroge or whatever just PM me if you don't want to post on the forums. I will answer what I can.

The first game in that series tried to take itself seriously but a bunch of streamers played it as a joke game and laughed at how stupid it was and he intentionally made the next one a lot more absurd.  Including a clip where used a missile to blow up a couple of youtubers who had been critical of the series.  He does not exactly take criticism of his games or himself well at all.  I actually figured he would eventually go too far in some way and get booted off the platform entirely.

At any rate, I am still a bit surprised Valve ever allowed any adult games on the platform, cartoony or otherwise.  Online payment services have a history of dropping businesses because of adult content because it is not worth the hassle, especially in the US.  I think the people who get mad over stuff like this are in for a rude awakening when Valve eventually decides the genre in general is not worth it and goes back to doing away with even the games with adult content that they allow now.

GOG and Epic both refused to sell this particular game as well.

The Director's Cut is better than the theatrical version so I suggest that. The Ultimate Cut, while it has a few extra scenes not in the Director's cut (I think), its almost ridiculously long and the pirate comic scenes isn't likely to appeal to anyone who hasn't read the comic(s) a bunch of times.

Its not am all time low but anyone looking for The definitive content form Shadow of War humble has it on sale this week.

Published by Sold Out games...  I find that rather ironic as they did sell out to epic.  Their press releases talks about having sold "hundreds of thousands" of copies...  which I don't find remarkable at all.  (https://www.enadglob...F0DA9390117A57/)

Anyhow, good to see it coming to Steam...  It didn't get the best reviews back when it released...  So hopefully the issues have gotten fixed.

I'd been meaning to replay The Evil Within so I figured I'd try out the GamePass version to see what the first person mode is like. And well, it sucks! It's an interesting perspective when you're just exploring but actual gameplay is practically broken. You can't see important icons and stealth is a nightmare. In terms of performance the game maybe runs slightly better, but not much. It still feels a lot more janky than it should. Anyway, I played for about 15 minutes before I remembered that the game isn't very good and I deleted it.

But then you'd have to install the GMG Capsule client to play the game, then install the Playfire client to link and earn your rewards.

So with EA’s inclusion in Game Pass Ultimate, what are the odds that Origin will be merged into the Xbox store, purchase-wise? I’m getting sick of all these different store fronts based on publisher (thank god the stupid Bethesda.net store is probably dead with the recent merger) and Ubisoft is bad enough too, but Origin just feels especially pointless now.

None. Why would EA merge their stuff into another store? They can fleece money off of Microsoft AND the gullible fools who paid them money on Origin directly. It's a win win for them.

Honestly didn't even know this came to PC. Tempted to get it, but I also feel like it's probably going to end up in the Sonic 30th Anniversary Bundle or whatever Humble's Sega bundle this year is going to be called.

Then again then again, we haven't had a significant publisher bundle in a long time, have we? Hmmmmm.

It's published by Forever Entertainment so we'll probably see a cheap bundle with it in it eventually

What, you really think CDPR would scapegoat him for faults with the game that were clearly the result of their own executive mismanagement?

I'm not disagreeing, mind you.

Not necessarily that though I wouldn't put it past them to scapegoat since companies are gonna do whatever they feel is in their best interest. I was thinking more the work environment between the crunch to get the game out, numerous delays, pandemic and then the backlash of the bad reception likely would cause most people to want to leave if it got to a point. Especially so if a project is your baby.
