I'll have to watch this one, about 10 in the area are down to $550. At $250 i'll bite.

They went out of stock pretty much instantly at $550. Not sure why people would buy out all the stock at that $550 price, as an i7-8700, 16GB RAM, and 2TB hard drive are $500 (the PSU, mobo, case in this prebuilt are all trash and worth maybe $50 max; you could buy alternative parts for probably an extra $50 and have a better build). Yes I know some people don't want to build their own computer, but I'm just offering a comparison.

At $250 that is an absolute steal though. Even at $400 it would probably be worth it.

Somebody hide my wallet!! I just picked up the Harmony remote for $9. Also grabbed the 65" Samsung TV for $549 and a 55" Vizio for $199. Then I grabbed some Mario Sports 3DS games for $16 each at TRU. Threw a $7 Giana Sisters Wii U game in for good measure. Now I just need to get a hold of that Samsung Soundbar.

which Harmony for $9?

Probably this one: https://brickseek.co...er?sku=21054211

I've been watching it since someone first mentioned it. Only store that has it at that price around me is OOS. Every other store has it at $39.xx

That 4.1 bar has me tempted, but I don't think I can do with 4 instead of 5. Feels off.

Wow that GE HDMI with Ethernet cable....everybody has it for $1. But 4ft? It's too short for me.

They've been on 24 hours a day every day for months or over a year in some cases.  I'd pass unless it was super super super duper cheap.  But to each their own.  They also seem to usually have a hard time finding stands/remotes/manuals/etc around here for those.

Pay an extra $40 to Square Trade and call it a day

Found a 5.1 RCA surround sound system tonight, the receiver and not the Blu-Ray player, for $40

Yep, the one he linked is limited to blu-ray only, this one does anything with an HDMI, so a game system, blu-ray, PC, etc.

Did you buy one and have tried it already? I'm kind of interested in it, but I've seen some bad reviews.

Also, if you've tried it, how do the rear speakers hook up? Do you have to run the cords around the entire room to the receiver?

I haven’t. I just picked it up because it was so cheap. I have a 7.2 setup with a 4K Sony receiver. This one will either be used in a spare bedroom or if family friends want it they can have it, or I might try and trade it on the Facebook marketplace for something else I’d rather have.

Wal-Mart reviews balanced, Amazon reviews rip it to shreds.

It's in mass quantities for $40 at WM's where I live. I am concerned with so many negative reviews, but might be too cheap to pass up and give it a try.

4 of those near me for $299.  That's a great deal for anyone in the market for a new 4K TV or an extra one.

They are $199 near me. Bought a 50" version (not sure if it's the same model) this time last year for $250, and it works very well. Even works well as a giant 4K computer screen, though gameplay is at 60Hz and not 144 like most monitors.

How reliable is brickseek?  If something says Limited Quantities but says there's 0 in store, what does that mean?  Do I have any shot?

I've often seen that it refers to a display model, when it comes to Walmart, Brickseek is usually wrong over 90% of the time when it comes to clearance for me.

Most monitors are still at 60hz nowadays

Is there any way to get Walmart to do a warranty on an open display model?

As in buy it and apply a warranty or apply one after you buy it?

Do know a display model is sold just like any other item on registers. You can come in with it, say you don't have the box but have the sticker / UPC it was sold with, say it doesn't work and get a replacement.

But isn't it likely if you're buying the display there isn't something to replace it with?

Yes. You can get your money back though if it truly doesn't work within 90 days.
