nice, worked for me. I was just gonna renew mine this week too. Mine expired April 5. extended it to May 16, so i'll take a month and a half free!

You don't even have to do it through a browser its a promotion it looks like right now I was able to do it on Xbox one through the subscription option
 
Worked for me, thanks for posting! Wasn't working at first so I just had to sign out AND THEN enter the link and sign in, worked perfectly.

That's how I found out about it too. It said "Try a free month of Gold" and hey, I can't argue with a free month and 4 free games
 
I get try updating your subscription" I have a 12 month card and it doesn't run out to july,So I dunno wth is going on :(

 
Well that was easy. Mine expires in 2 days and I already have a year card ready to go but now I can procrastinate even more before entering it!

This happened to me. I signed out and closed the window. Then, I went to the link provided in the OP, picked the month, it then said I had to sign in, I did so and it worked.

If you want to change the way you pay for your subscription, you can change the payment option for your current one, rather than buying a new subscription.

Goddamn, I got two months too. Just checked my expiration date. It was supposed to extend me to May, but it's saying my next charge won't be until mid June. Niceness.
 
Got a free copy of Borderlands thanks to this. Do I get to keep it, if I cancel the gold subscription? Or, is it like PS+ where the games only work as long as you are subscribed?
 
I'm guessing those with less than a month left on their current sub scored two? That's what happened to me. Mine went from 3/18/2016 to 5/16/2016. Anyone see anything any different? I realize that means it's not really two but anything extra is nice.

Not for me. Mine was expiring in August, but now it expires in October.

Tried the above solution, and it didn't work for me. I had to manually remove auto-renew through the website, and then clicked the link above. Worked with no problems. It's funny how people are getting different lengths of renewal... I got an extra 57 days
