Fist of The North Star: Lost Paradise - PS4 24.99 @ Amazon

Man, i paid $37 for this a little over a month ago.  It is ok but I am kind of bored with it.  Compared to other Yakuza games it has been a bit disappointing.  For starters the night club has the cabaret club mini game from 0 and Kiwami 2 but it has been messed with to the point that it is more a chore and frustrating than fun.  There are too many sub-stories linked to it that because of it I will not fight Amon for the first time since Y3.  Also I think the combat is very stiff for Ken but not the enemies.  The enemies now gang up on you and it hard to fight them off.  There are other "problems" but I don't want to discourage anyone who may be interested in it.  It is a good game compared to most other games.  But compared to other Yakuza games, it is just ok.  I can fully understand the quick price drop it has been receiving.

Just dropped to $20. How can I pass up Fist of the North Star x Yakuza at that price?

On with BB customer service now. Worried the Launch Edition won't price match

Edit:
They said it'll match

20 was my price point for this game, and most other games. Figured I'd have to wait until at least spring for the game to get down to 20. Absolute no-brainer buy for me. Had a bast with Fist of the North Star on PS3. Looking forward to playing this one.

Yeah, I could not pass up the $20 price tag. Price matched online at BB and I’ll be picking it up later this week. Thank you very much for the heads up!

PM at BB as well. Trying to actually find the game within the last hour of them closing on Christmas Eve was the hard part.

Amazon has the game for $20 now. I bought it for $25 on Sunday. Does Amazon do price adjustments like Best Buy does or no? Anyone know? Thanks.

That $19.99 price is tempting, but looking at videos of the actual gameplay I think it's probably not for me.   The main draw for me to the Yakuza series (and Shenmue) is the exploration in the city and overall game world along with the minigames/arcade/sidestuff.   This seems like a huge step backwards in world design.  I'm glad people who want the game are getting a good deal on this.  I was 1/2 tempted to buy it just on the developer... glad I dug a bit deeper.

This one was decent from the demo, and I own it now too. Kenshiro walks horribly slow in shops, but in battle and the city he moves fine. It's a bit repetitive, but has some charm too. I think the Yakuza games are miles better, but for $20 you could do worse. This released at a horrible time for sure. Glad the Yakuza games did well this year at least.

Ok I bought 2 copies. of FOTNS, 1 for a gift. I noticed both copies were not original factory sealed. Anyone else get this?

I've only ever seen shrinkwrapped copies. That's how they get the day one goodies inside.

Same here. Both copies had that crappy looking ripped up heat seal. I don't think I have ever seen a game come like this. Only seen DVDs and Blurays. Box all scuffed up too. I assumed it was a return.
