This could make for some interesting deals especially since a bunch of games come out on August 27th, just have to place the order after they have been released.

Games that come to mind:

Saints Row IV

Splinter Cell Blacklist

Final Fantasy XIV ARR Collector's Edition

Many more!

Got this to work no problem.  Bought a $50 PSN card and a $2 cable with free shipping.  Totaled at $37 or so.  Thanks for posting!

I think I see the reason it doesn't work peroperly. I use www.newegg.com normally and added the psn 50 card and it's charging me shipping(even when it says free shipping) and taxes. So that must be happening on the mobile site.

Edit: The promo is working on the normal site. I'm on my laptop.

I get an error with the promo code :/

Tried getting the $49.99 PSN card but it was coming out a few dollars more expensive than it should have been, so I gave up and just got a Pulse Elite headset for $110 shipped. Not the greatest deal around but still saves $15 and I didn't want to wait any longer.

Had to do a bit of maneuvering to get the psn card ($50) to work with a $2,50 cable without tacking on a $7 shipping charge. When you review your order, the mobile site lets you change the shipping method; not sure if everybody else is not getting this far or what, but it worked for me on the mobile site. Thanks a lot OP. :D

Changing to free shipping at the end of checkout did the trick, thanks! The cheapest filler I could find in-stock with free shipping was this $1.42 audio/usb port plug: http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemNumber=9SIA0PG0822868 So $36.41 for a $50 PSN card.

On the Newegg mobile site, the pre-order button is always greyed out. I tried this for The Wonderful 101 and Shin Megami Tensei IV. How can I pre-order something if the button can't be clicked?

Well apparently I am quite stupid and have never shopped online before- where in the world do/can I enter the WALLET promo code on Newegg's mobile site?

I tried completing the transaction with WALLET on their full site, but I got an error message about the code on the last step of checkout.

EDIT: WOW, after trying this SEVERAL more times, I have been one tap on my phone away from completing an order for a $50 PSN card and a throwaway audio adapter for $36.XX.  The last couple times, though, I'm getting an error message from Newegg saying that they are experiencing problems on their servers when processing my request.  Awesome.

EDIT 2:  Well, it turns out persistence paid off in this instance!  I finally got everything to work properly!  It took way more time and work than I thought I was willing to put into getting thirteen free PSN bucks, but at least I'm through with this!

I am having a hell of a time getting this to work. Wallet works on the mobile site, but I can't figur eout how to change to free shipping. In the android app I can change to free shipping but wallet doesn't work and I don't see an option to use google wallet.

Edit:

Got it. You have to "check out" with Google Wallet, fill all that info out, then it takes you back to newegg where you can change the shipping.

Picked up a 3ds xl. With no tax this is almost exactly the same price as best buy for $175 and I've been kicking myself for not picking it up when it was on sale. Thanks guys!

The Google Wallet is not shown as a payment option anymore.  Is this dead already?

EDIT: I was using the m.newegg.com site on my PC which previously showed a Google checkout option, but now doesn't.  When I use it on my phone, the Google checkout option is still shown.  Perhaps it was missing due to a browser issue.

Thanks for this deal, just ended up using the port plugs to push mgs legacy over the $50 minimum. Awesome deal, MGS legacy collection for $41.40

Debating between PSN card and Metal Gear Legacy (never played a MG game)

Anyone recommend?

I honestly cant find anything to use this deal on. 5.99 shipping on a psn card is insane. Congrats to anyone that got the free shipping.

Really wish the metal gear solid legacy collection was either all digital or all on disc. It really frustrates me that it is some of each.

You just need to update your app.

I tried the mobile site on 3 different devices and STILL can't get the damned code to work.
I actually had to access the website on firefox in order to get the option for google pay.

Definitely, comes with 5 games, an interactive comic, and an art booklet. for $50 (10 less in this case) it's hard not to pick up. The mgs series is great fun.

I'm seeing the $5.99 shipping for the PSN card as well even though it says free shipping on the search results.  Bummer.  I'll keep checking on it.  I actually attempted to do this early this morning but completely forgot about the "WALLET" code so I ended up cancelling.  D'oh.

Damn no preorders. Was gonna pick up SMT to complete that Nintendo deal. Thought I was so smart.

Nice deal OP. Thanks for posting it.
SMT comes out in a week. Deal expires in 8 weeks. Only risk is to not get the "limited edition" bonuses... up to you if those are worth $15.

So I was messing around with getting the $50 PSN Card to work but since it's been killed, I looked around for something else to use the promo on (since I have a feeling this deal is gonna die within the next day or so - allotted funds running out).

For anyone looking to upgrade their PS3 HDD, this is currently on sale:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822149377&Tpk=MQ01ABD100&IsVirtualParent=1

1TB for $64.99, with the GWallet promo it knocks it down to $49.99 shipped (change shipping to free on review order screen).

This is the same price I paid for my 500GB back in the day, which I've filled up completely due to PS+ over the last year. Amazing deal for anyone who is keeping/growing their PS3 library even with the PS4 coming out.

That's $2 cheaper than I just paid for my 750GB a couple months ago. Very good deal, and it looks like that hard drive has gotten some very good reviews as well.

I'm using the HD for my ps3 now, also due to ps+. So far so good.

How long does it take for your order to show up in your account/get send confirmation emails? My order finished on the mobile site (which is awful) and I still haven't gotten anything yet.

That is the speed of normal PS3 hard drive.  I don't think it was ever proven that the 7200 RPM caused problems, but most of what I read recommended sticking with the 5400 RPM speed when upgrading the PS3 hard drive.
