I probably played over 50 Tecmo Super Bowl seasons with friends (multiplayer seasons, fucks yeah) and they always became more difficult as the season progressed.

I think I might be misunderstanding you doe.
You understand me perfectly. My friends and I played 4 days in a row when we first picked it up, taking turns sleeping while other people played. I don't think I ever played a single season without Herschel Walker getting hurt.

And single player? I wasn't putting that game down until I went through a season undefeated... And some people think they spent a lot of time on Skyrim...Dayum.

Hey guys,

I really want to buy Magicka, should I do it now or wait until the summer sale starts. Do you think that will go on sale?
Best buy now and not think about it. For Questions please reference:

I'm excited about the sale in regards to the format, card tie-ins, etc... Any potential big discounts and amazing prices will be gravy smothered on tender juicy turkey legs. Mmm.

My top 5:

1. The Swapper

2. Don't Starve

3. FC3 Blood Dragon

4. Gunpoint

5. Antichamber

Mainly non-AAA titles.

Play until you win... Sounds like my old Tecmo Super Bowl seasons.
Holy hell I loved that game. Serpentine! I was always thrown off when playing a 2-player game and trying to run an offense going the opposite direction (right to left instead of the default left to right). It was so unnatural.

That's an awesome list. I want Fallen Enchantress too... But I'll wait for winter sale (MSRP drop :D). Got xcom complete from GMG. You should pick that game, is amazing. I'm a fan of the firsts games, and this one keeps the original spirit. 9/10
It's been at the top of my wishlist since I played the demo. But I really would like to get it for $7.50 ;) Probably needs an MSRP drop first, like FE. You never know, GMG might try to compete with Steam and they have I believe a 20% off coupon right now too.

Hey guys don't mind me I'm just visiting for the Steam Summer Sale. I hope you don't mind I brought a couple of friends, we should only create 6-7 pages of content every hour asking if we should pull the trigger on X game or wait for a bigger discount later.

OMG you guys are killing me!

Back to work I go. When I finish my shift in an hour, this thread will have advanced 10 pages and Steam will probably still be down.
I haven't gotten any work done this morning, too busy following this thread... Although I guess as long as I fix a couple bugs or have at least something to show my boss will be happy. BRB changing a tiny amount of code in a pointless manner so I can show I did something

My suggestion is for you to actually fuck things up majorly when you change the code. That way you can have the excuse of "working to fix this" the rest of the day while you follow the thread.

HA! I just might have to try that. "Sorry guys, the database deleted itself. I'm not sure how, will probably take me all day to fix. Don't bother me"

Remember Fallen Enchantress Legendary Heroes can be gotten @50% by anyone who owns FE. I've already been able to get FE:LH for 15 since it came out. I think they said it would stack with sales so a 50% sale would already get it to 7,50 :)

Why exactly does one need patience to idle in a game? If you're idling, can't you just, oh I don't know, go do something else?
you need to install the game, let it idle for a few hours, get 4 cards that sell for like .20 a piece, rinse and repeat for about .75 a pop.... it's a pretty big pain in the ass imo

You can use Steam Achievement Manager to idle in the game so you don't even have to install it. You act like while a game is idling, the only thing you can do is sit there and wait.

And yeah, some of the cards don't sell for very much, but when I've made about $50 and gotten a few free games out of it for very minimal effort, I'd say it's worth it.

Wait, I can idle without installing? Would you happen to have those instructions anywhere?

Could you explain how to use the Achievement Manager?

Wait a minute, since when did Steam have sales on Steam games.  I bought most of my Steam games from Amazon's sales (present sale excluded.)

Wait, I can idle without installing? Would you happen to have those instructions anywhere?
Google and download Steam Achievement Manager. Then open the program, pick your game, and just let it sit. It'll act as if you have the game running and you will get card drops just as you would if you were playing the game.

That would be amazing!!!

Don't know if it was mentioned, but they just added Hotline Miami Cards.
Thanks for the heads up! Idling now. This game is too hard for me and my old man reflexes.

I was just coming here to say that they added Hotline Miami cards, but I see I was beaten to the punch.. oh well. :)

I had been idling McPixel and refreshed the page only to see a new game with 3 drops remaining at the top of my list.

I don't even know what I'm really looking for this sale... maybe BL2 Mechromancer seriously cheap?

Already got my lunch at hand, and my wallet open. Steam lets do this...

Well lets do this in a hour or two after it stabilizes. Lets at least look at the deals when the servers are not crashing, lol.

Could you explain how to use the Achievement Manager?
It's really not difficult at all. IIRC, you just run the program and it gives you a grid view of your games, you double click the game and it will allow you to unlock any achievements you want and edit the statistics for said game, but all you need to do is let that screen sit and it will count as idling. Go to your Steam profile and double check to see if it says you're in a game or not to make sure it's working.
