If you have a game that only the hardcore Contra fans are going to recommend to the other 8 hardcore Contra fans, you won't sell many more copies. This is the reason I haven't bit on the game this far. I don't want a brutal game at requires near-memorization. Love the idea of the gameplay mechanics and like the art style, but I don't want to get the game, love the first few levels, and rage-quit at the difficulty spike.

Fighting game companies need to realize Steam is where the market's at for PC gaming; many PC gamers use controllers (like the X360 Gamepad) for these type of games here (see SF4 and MK games on the PC); and that making their game use Steamworks for the MP is probably the way to go.

EDIT:

Well, I'm glad Namco had Dark Souls on the PC; and will put Dark Souls 2 here on PC.

I get this, I suppose I would just like more motivation to actually play my games is all. You right though that people would simply exploit it, but it would feel like more of an accomplishment if I wasn't just able to leave the game running and get the cards.

Damn, I still haven't finished FO 3 yet either, I think I'm at the last vault though. I've loved the game so much that I don't want it to end so I've just put it off. I've done this with books too lol, I have 3 or 4 where I only have like 10 pages to read.
