The Official Square/Enix Members Info Thread (Year 2012-13)

Wow, got my cards & erasers in the mail. Just regular USPS. Cards came in a little plastic case to store them and the transparency thing going on with them is kind of neat. They feel very similar to normal playing cards, but are suppose to be water proof.
 
woohoo got all my crap today. i'll post pics in a bit.

the backpack feels, cheap but it is nicely made. it may just be a thinner nylon than a standard backpack like a jansport or something. the plaque is amazing

Got mine today. Live in WA.

Backpack, IMO, is pretty good quality. But I haven't used a backpack in years so maybe I'm not the best judge :)

The plaque looks great at a distance, but if you inspect it closely, it's pretty flawed. The back of mine was pretty scuffed up. It's also basically a giant piece of glass with a sticker on the back -- and my sticker part wasn't "cut" correctly (not sure how to explain it), so there was some extra sticker stuff sticking out from the top (I had to exacto-knife it off).

Of course this was all free, so I can't really complain.

Great run of rewards these past few years (minus the After Years art.. really? After Years?). Hope they re-institute the program at some point.
 
Wait, the program is done?? After being really disappointed with the reward after the iPod I stopped entering codes so I could save up for one good year. I guess I waited too long :rofl:.

You think you waited too long? I did not particpate the 1st year but got serveral of the 2nd and 3rd year.

Bad thing is I still have over 160 that goes unregistered. I really hope they bring it back. ;)

Anyone know if there's a contact number or e-mail for customer service in case I don't get mine? I still haven't gotten a package from FedEx.
 
My brother received his stuff. I want the plaque. If anyone has a plaque up for trade, let me know. It seems like they didn't deliver my stuff since I turned in the rewards form late, which was their faults since I couldn't log in to my account with their same login, multiple accounts problem. Seriously, their website sucks. I stopped using their forums.
 
Got all mine yesterday, the plaque looks cool but feels cheap in my opinion. Otherwise, the prizes are pretty damn cool. I really do hope this gets extended after the SE sites merge, I still have enough codes to get to Ultimate again
 
Got my package today. BTW I'm in Ohio. Everything is awesome however my 1 complaint is that the FF14 stand is way to wobbly. I'm gonna need to slide a card or something in the back to keep it from moving. If they don't continue the program in the future I'm cool with it cuz the stuff I've gotten from them over the last few years maybe have some decent value (Although I'll never sell them)
 
Whew checked with my leasing office and apparently the package arrived a couple of days ago. I guess the FedEx guy forgot to give me a slip notifying me that it had been delivered. Yay!
 
Received the package today in WI. I got the cards and backpack. I like them both. The backpack is a lot nicer than I expected.

So the retail value of the cards ($12) and erasers ($2.50) are $14.50 total. I would assume the bag cost them $15-20. Not bad for entering some codes I guess.

VA, still nothing :cry: Crosses fingers for tomorrow. Else have to wait until Monday.

Erasers: Have not open them

Cards: Good/Ok, not as good or colorful as CN ones, they actually feel like plastic cards unlike CN ones which feel smooth to the touch and every card practically slide off your hands. Kikkerland Product all over the case and has Tiato license on every card, makes it feel like a limited editiony almost card set feel for some reason.

Backpack: good quality and size for light use, actually has some padding, pockets galore, "made in china" tab, no books - laptop/tablet and 3ds or vita maybe.

Plaque/Display: Alright, heavy clear plastic/glass w/ nice acrylic in the back.

Got my ultimate tier stuff today (Calgary). Was marked with $10 as the value so didn't have any duties or anything to pay.
 
Wow, got mine today. They marked it as $10 but customs opened it and valued the backpack at $50 and the plastic thing at $100!? Charged me $42 in duties. Anyone ever fought a customs charge like that and won?

ouch triple, so I take it that's Canada? That sucks that they opened it up to give values on things. But on the bright side, you do have it now :p And if you plan to sell them, you have a starting bid or buy it now price on the items to list them at, lol

It was basically imported from the US to Canada. Any government -anything that is imported from a foreign country, the government can tax it. They opened up his stuff and told him it was worth 150 instead of the 10 that SE said it was worth. Funny they did not give value to the cards, but even 50 for the backback seems extravagant.

Off Topic anyone hear about the Konomi program and what games we can register for it? Castlevania and MG: Rising I am aware of.

I'm in the beta right now and you can actually register any seventh gen game, regardless of when it was bought by just entering the back of it and claiming some date when you bought it. Will probably be changed before it goes live.

so what is it exactly? Is this Konami thing another rewards program being made? If so, whats the site to sign up for it and such

I entered a code yesterday to test out how it is now, points didn't add, still shows my points from last year, still said congrats for entering the code. But till they complete the merge and bring back the rewards (if they do), probably better not to enter a code yet..

Yeah, I was shocked at how quality the backpack is. I want to thank CAG and this thread for bringing this program to my attention. I just figured those codes were just to "register" my games so another company could get my info.

I called up to gamestop today for info on the FFX/X-2 PS3 release, reading over comments left by ppl on the site made it sound like it was coming out the same day as the Kingdom Hearts in September. But it didn't have a date for its release on the site. So anyways, I called up GS and they said they don't have an official release date for it yet, for them its says 12/31/2013, so hopefully it will be changed to sooner rather than later. Oh and they don't have any pre orders available for the Vita versions right now, which can be found on the SE page though..
