The price don't really bother me. I've saved enough PUR points to get me a $50 coupon but I'll probably just get the regular edition and wait for a price drop on the CE.

I'd love the artbook, but I really don't care about the rest of it, except maybe the steelbook... but since I'll be grabbing it digitally for PC, most likely, the steelbook doesn't do much for me either now.

Maybe I can just buy the artbook on ebay. :lol:

Pokemon is beautiful. Animations are nice and the variety in the wild is nice. I hated Black and White for restricting you with only new Pokemon. 

 
I am still really loving KoA. I'm ridiculously OP. I basically just creep up behind every body and just do fire shockwaves that insta-kill everything. The only things that don't instantly die are bosses so far.

I played that game and liked it more than Skyrim. There's alot of quests to do.

 
Had to pay extra for the damn game. Totally worth. Fortunately there aren't any games coming out this month that I want.

Nintendo releases are weird but it makes sense. Isn't Sunday Japan's payday?

 
I paid full price for Diablo 3.

After that I couldn't care less. A game like Pokemon is worth $60 anyways, at least for me. ;D

It's out on Saturday so that it's a worldwide simultaneous launch to avoid spoilers/early strategies leaking out. In Japan, Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, FF, and DQ games by law must come out on Saturday so as not to have the entire country play hookey from school/work.

I would consider KoA and Skyrim somewhat similar as well, both fantasy settings, open worlds, bunch of side quests, loot, etc. Obviously they have some differences in the cameras, combat, pacing, but I would still classify them both close to the same at the end of the day.

Huh. What do you know... Wikipedia says Monster Hunter is an Action RPG... guess it and Skryim and Kingdom of Amalur are all close to the same at the end of the day.

Oh look, they also list Chrono Trigger in there.

[Obviously, I disagree with the notion they're the same. Action RPG and Western RPG are two entirely different genres in my book.]

lol wikipedia, but really, having put some time into all three of those games there are some similarities between them, but MH isn't open world with a bunch of sidequests and has a very different loot system, I was just pointing out that I don't see a problem comparing KoA and Skyrim really.

Also, Capcom.com classifies MH as just an RPG, so it obviously plays more like Final Fantasy and such :p

It's not really losing viewers totally. It's lost viewers when it airs, but the Hulu viewership is through the roof the next day. Also, it had higher Demo ratings than NCIS, which hasn't happened in a very long time.
