So, if you're going for the "Cash to Burn" achievement, I would highly recommend having your currency set in British Pounds because the conversion rates are really out of whack.

It seems so. I always play in British pounds cos I always play British teams.

Note: this was all done in the game's Classic mode.

I just got the Cash to Burn cheev (break your club's transfer record) by offering most of the most valuable Real Madrid players for sale. I managed to get the transfer budget up to around 80m, then adjusted the budget to 92m. (Real Madrid's record transfer is 85m pounds for Gareth Bale)

Trying to buy a player for 90m is harder than it sounds, most of the players didnt want to join even though their clubs accepted the transfer bid but I found Manchester City's Joe Hart, Arsenal's Olivier Giraud and Liverpool's Coutinho would.

(Not that it matters which player you buy because you wouldn't want to carry on this game after you've crippled Real Madrid by selling half it's team to replace them with one player that's not as good as the one's you sold)

Nope, we didn't get the collectible guide because we technically didn't preorder the game. Squeenix is stupid.
You know, I looked at the list of chapters for Murdered thinking it would give me an idea of which stage would lock me in. Thought I figured it out. Went into the next mission. Went to see a guide where the missing collectibles were...and then realized I had already entered the locked in area! I want to get all the story so I'll definitely do a second playthrough, but not sure if I want to start one now or just finish my current playthrough.

Get -all- the other collectibles except for the ones in the stage you can't go back to. That way when you start the next game, you'll only have to get the stuff from that stage. Apparently that's how it works in the PS3, it should be the same on PC.

Protip for Magicka's IMMA FIRIN' MAH LAZER!!!!, with thanks to Motoki for the initial instructions:

Start (better yet, load an existing save) an adventure game. Have player 1 use a keyboard and press the A button on a 360 pad to join up. Start the adventure.

On the pad, press and hold Up, then press Up Right, on the Right Stick five times so you charge up your Arcane beam.

On the keyboard, press S five times.

Position the two mages so their beams cross together when they fire. On the pad, press and hold the Right Trigger to fire, then press the mouse's Right button to have the other mage fire. Let go of the buttons and the achievement should pop.

I am also very disappointed that they went with a stupid Lazor reference and not a Ghostbusters one. I know there's another one that is a reference, but still. :p

So GMG tweeted that the FF double pack is 75% off after they'd already fixed the price to set it back down to 50%. Lame.

Kinda curious about the Tomb Raider games. I've only played 2013. The older ones are too dated at this point, but are Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld worth playing at this point? Considering picking them up if they go on a decent enough sale.

Anyone know how to get the "No Friend of Mine" achievement in Cities in Motion 2?

I've tried turning fares all the way up and lowering wages, but the reputation meter doesn't do a damn thing. What am I not getting?

Uh. Oops.

I installed Little Racers Street and played it a bit to get some achievements. I bought a decent car, then I got a really crappy one to get the "My first car - Class E" achievement (Apparently buying your first car doesn't make this pop. And then I went into the multiplayer mode to get the Bad Day achievement using this car (Two cars, 1 AI - I was the only one in the track.)

When I finished the race, I got Bad Day and a bunch of other achievements, including the "Win 10 Online Matches" one! I hope Playfire won't see that and screw me over... I'm posting a message at the game's forum right now. D:

AAAAAAAAAGH MY CREDIT

Edit: Looks like the 10 race achievement being bugged is known since February!

You think that's bad.. like half of the Flashout 2 achievements are bugged. Everyone unlocks the "100 online races completed" and "100% game completion" achievements after completing ONE online race. That LRS bug is nothing.

Dammit dammit dammit.

Please let there be some good deals tomorrow so I can spend my credit and not worry about getting banned...

I can't believe their system is already back to not working. I've done £3.45 worth of rewards today and yesterday and none of 'em have popped, including "play for the first time"s.

Also annoyed that I can't get the Goatbuilt achievement in Goat Sim (from what I've read, it's glitched and unobtainable, derp.)

You could try alerting the Playfire staff about the glitched achievements over in the beta feedback thread.
Yeah. But...

Yeah, if you wanna get banned even faster!
THIS OH GOD MY CREDIT. :(

... yeah, I've gotten a ton of new achievements and "Play for the first time" ones but not all of them have given me credit. >_<

Eh, I sent in a support ticket today to fix my being unable to purchase crap. Even if I get banned completely, It's not like I was able to purchase anything anyway. Hopefully I'll know either way in the morning, and then I'll report back if GMG is on a banning spree.

Read the guide and while don't have 2, this might work: Build a bus line that is really, really long with a ton of stops, that should get things all screwed up (I'd think, if it is anything like 1 it will).

Anyone ever had it where you can't see your rewards page (like the one that shows the rewards you got and if they were added to your credit yet)? Since the screw-up a couple weeks ago, I just get a 500 error anytime I try to look. It appears to be updating though, but impossible for me to know until the credit goes up. Really don't want to have to deal with support (I should for the Ascend achievements but waiting a month+ for pre-written statements? ughh)

  • LEGO® Marvel™ Super Heroes - unlock I'm Always Angry! - £0.50
Super easy .50 reward. Right when you start the game you will be Hulk/Iron Man. As Hulk just hold down the Y button until the achievement pops. You have to change from Bruce to Hulk 50 times.

Working my way through these, not hard so far but getting them all will require nearly beating the game I think.

I also finished Richard & Alice rewards which weren't too bad. It does require you to beat the game but its only around 4 hours. Also there are multiple endings so the .50 one can be a pain, I had to replay from about Chapter 6 a couple times to unlock the correct ending.

Can't miss a chance for that free money. For the tickets I've submitted it took two weeks to get resolved. After one week I got a generic email asking for info I already gave them, then the next week they fix it.

So I got 4.45 pounds of achievements from the last two days but they only converted dollar to dollar.  So on one hand, seems I'm doing better than a lot of people where my achievements are tracking and transferring fine, but they aren't converting from pounds to dollars like they used to.  Already sent a ticket and waiting for a response, wondering if I should wait or send another with these additional achievements...

Giana Sisters mini-guide

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dream - unlock Citrine Cannonball - £0.10
Really easy, when you see a yellow crystal, use the fireball move (X on xbox controller) and then switch forms(?) immediately (shoulder buttons on xbox controller).

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dream - unlock Soft Landing - £0.25
Same concept as the first one, use whirlwind (Y on controller) and then use the shoulder buttons to switch forms, then land on an owl.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dream - unlock Hardcore - £0.50
Beat the boss level with 4 stars. Not sure what determines how many stars you get, but I beat the first boss with something like 680/703 crystals, but I died 61 times and got 3 stars. Maybe I suck, but I really do not want to play the level again just for the 4 stars, so fuck it.
EDIT: Apparently you need to beat the level with less than 20 deaths and 700 or more crystals

Tip for United the Kingdom (CK II)--Not knowing my European History (US Edumacation and all that), found out that if you start as England in October 1283, you'll have all of Wales and enough of Ireland to create both those Kingdoms once you get the money and piety. It's just figuring out how to get enough of Scotland then from there.

Wow. A lot of rewards. and steamlessness is down.

Flashout 2 achievements are buggy?

Haven't even started the game :p

Are you sure? It converts only when credit transfers, so display is bugged before that.

So half of my stuff from the past two days wasn't picked up by Playfire's money dispenser, but they were picked up by their achievement detector. Flippin' wonderful. Guess Playfire thinks I have too much money. Argh.

I'm not gonna bother with more rewards. Back to card idling for the summer sale for me.

Tried Master Reboot for the rewards. The game is surprisingly good. I don't usually like puzzle games, but this one is an exception, it is deep and the "horror/suspense" feature fits really well.

Yeah, my balance would transfer on GMG the same without increasing. That said, I think they've fixed it finally. My balance transferred today and it converted this time so it increased by a pretty fair amount including what hadn't converted before!

You know, NinjaSquirrel said this game sucked so I haven't played it. You say it is good and horrorish? Got me interested. Never trust MNS.

Is there anywhere on the Playfire page to see all active rewards? Steamlessness is pretty awesome, but not always reliable.

Easiest £0.95? And the game was free.

  • Flashout 2 - play for the first time - £0.10
  • Flashout 2 - unlock Sapper - £0.10
  • Flashout 2 - unlock Rocketman - £0.25
  • Flashout 2 - unlock Gunman - £0.50
Just boot the game and it unlocks every of these during tutorial.

Steam client shows 16/30 unlocked before even starting, but not website.

It actually unlocks 17 of 30 achivements during the tutorial :D

you can probably guess how good game is based on that. shame on that.

everyone banned for accusation of using SAM to unlock.

I've just played one of the "main" levels (the park) and I liked it, a lot. I don't know it everything falls apart later on.

The "horror" thing is not like dead space. Is very subtle. For example, a strange girl on a bench watching you from far away an laughing (and you can't get closer). Steps running towards you from behind when you're looking at some clue or reaching some place...

Gave Woodle a try for the rewards.  All of them involve collecting berries (up to 3000) with the Yellow Leaf happening on the 2nd level if you've been grabbing them all.  This game is a test of patience (glitchy, horrible camera, and feels unfinished) but relatively simple.  Getting all the rewards will just be a grind.

Better hurry if you want to do this, it may get fixed sometime today:

It makes you jump huh? I need to go back and finish the game, these rewards should help with that.

Woodle Tree Adventures has a bug: Each time I completed the first level I got more berries than I earned before (playing it the second time I got +100, on the third run it was +200 or something like that). Collecting 3000 berries was quite easy that way...
