destiny limited edition back in stock on amazon

Ghost Edition for 360 is back in stock on Amazon, you may have to select "see all buying options" or click on "new" link to see the Amazon listing at $149.99
 
Looks like my LE came in fine. I know it's not GE but what the heck, and when I get a PS4 later this year I can upgrade this version for that...that is if everyone doesn't leave and no one's playing the game by then.

Just an FYI. Not sure if you realize it's only the digital versions that upgrade for free. All your content from the LE will carry over but you will have to buy a physical copy for the PS4.

Your digital passes should carry over though. So, you'd only have to rebuy the base game.

And that should drop pretty quickly if sales tank after a series of bad reviews...

I'll say this much, I had a fun 3-4 hours playing it with a Redbox rental but I don't know if this thing will deliver...I mean look at Star Trek Online; it didn't really get good until three years after its launch.

Meh. I love it. But I was previously addicted to Titanfall, Diablo, and World of Warcraft. If you love loot and shooters, you'll probably love it.
 
I tried to do an OMS for an Xbone GE today at BB. Nothing available in the west or anywhere for that matter. Supposedly.

I have a Destiny PS4 Ghost Edition in mint condition I'm willing to sell for cost ($150) plus shipping ($25 or so judging by online estimates). Need to know if you're interested by end of day today. Thanks.
 
Well I knew it would happen.

I ordered 2 more Ghost Editions from Target.com last week knowing they would be cancelled.

Good news is...they were cancelled but I got $10x2 for the 2 orders :D

 
Walmart is shipping out the ghost backorders! Just got the shipping confirmation today despite being told it was going to be automatically cancelled a few days ago.
 
So to all the conspiracy theorists that Activision was holding back stock to drum up demand for the Ghost Edition - whatever happened to those?  A week into it's release and there has been no reopening stock of Ghost Editions from any retailers.  Not every collector's edition will get a reprint.  Nice ole cup of crow this morning :)

Thank you for this, friend. Was able to order 3 PS4 and 2 XBO Ghost Editions in-store after all my other pre-orders fell through. Didn't mention anything about not being eligible for in-store pickup though.

 
Yeah, guessing this is how they put in an order for me.  But they told me it would be store pickup too.

Yes, they updated every couple days which is BS when they say "it will be fixed monday" and then dont fix it. They then update a day later with updated useless info.

But good news. Bungie and my apartment IT department talked and got it working

Anyhow, I had no issues whatsoever during the beta and until the latest patch on Monday was released. Now I can log in and choose a destination, but I get the disconnect from both Destiny and PSN when the ship zooms down to the locale.

It has to do with their port coding as the game works fine with the PS4 connected directly to my modem, and not the router. Since everything else works fine, and the game was fine before the patch, I refuse to mess around with the router and risk bugging other crap up. Bungie just needs to get this fixed by basically going back to what worked before

The forum posts on Bungie.net are funny though with the animal names and people asking for U of My House and My House State to get fixed.
 
I received my ghost edition with some damage (not as bad as other people), just chatted with Amazon and the rep said no partial refunds, I'd have to send it back and purchase from a 3rd party seller.

I would try it again. I just got a refund yesterday afternoon. A different CS rep would hopefully get the job done. I got what seems like the standard 20%

I used amazon chat and got 40% back. They initially offered 30% but did 40% after I voiced my frustration.

Ya i read a bit on the bungie forums, i was lol at some of the crazy error codes. I didnt pick up the game but played basically connection issue free during the beta. Was just kinda interested to know.
 
Heads up:

I cancelled an Amazon order of Destiny Ghost Edition for PS4 that I got when they were re-stocked. It didn't ship yet. So at some point, I assume it will pop back up on there again.

You mean you whined until the guy caved in? :speaktothehand: I'm curious though, what justification does one have to claim 40%, and not 30%, is adequate to cover the price of a damaged box? CAGs and their complaining... :rofl:

It's $34.99. If you buy Expansion I and Expansion II separately, it'll be $19.99 each. So you "save" $5 by buying both immediately.

You know what...I've been playing the game to give it a chance...sure the story's well...."what story?" and there isn't much else to do but run, shoot to kill, hold the square button. Still, for what it is I'm getting a real kick out of playing a decent MMO shooter. You should have been there when I played Star Trek Online when it first came out....swore I'd never touch that thing again. Then it became F2P...it's much better now. 

The foundation is good enough for the game to expand and become better...the question is will it actually get better with those expansions?

Nevertheless, dat hand-cannon... :drool:
