Humble Bundle Thread

I'm actually totally fine with UPlay but have 0 interest in the Tom Clancy crap.
Yep. For me it's always just a matter of if it's worth it for me.
Steam was a no brainer, because of all the bundles.
It took both the Humble Origin bundle and Amazon having a big sale on the Command and Conquer collection. (Back in Tony days.) to lure me on to Origin.

Desura ended up worming it's way in because for a while Groupees gave desura keys, and Desura gave steam keys for those games.

After a few GOG sales and a few really good sales on retro collections, I even bough in on them.

Ubisoft just hasn't made it tempting enough for me to hassle with them. Tom Clancy and Might and Magic Bundles? Nope.
Which bugs me. I really want to play Far Cry Blood Dragon, just not enough to hassle with UPlay.

The one thing with uplay is prices for ubi games will usually be found cheaper from third parties first for uplay, i.e. 15$ crew complete from amazon, 30$ rainbow 6 siege, 30$ far cry primal, 20$ ac syndicate, 30$ division, etc etc

Of course steam will eventually hit those prices and lower, but uplay will get lower first

$15 for the crew was a price glitch

Was it? It lasted an entire day and the base game+wildrun and individual season pass were all on sale for similar discounts
it lasted for 1 hour before the code was not available.

You could add to cart for the whole day but couldn't check out.

75% off is supposedly for the base game but it was mistakenly applied to the other items

So $5 for Her Story and Roundabout? Not bad. Glad I didn't give in to temptation and snag HS during the "sale."
If you look at the lowest sale prices for both games, the difference between buying the $5 tier and the games during sales is about $3.33. Not a great value, but not bad if you want them both now.

Yeah, $2.50 each + a few Tex Murphy et al. keys to give away, trade, sell, what have you sounds good to me.

It's just further confirmation that I shouldn't buy any indie stuff outside of bundles. Like Missing Episode 1, for example. Sure, I only spent $0.99 in card money on it, but that could have justified a tier 1 purchase otherwise.

Roundabout I have no interest in and Her Story historical Steam low is $3.50 so I'll just get the first tier I think since I was interested in Tesla Effect anyway..

2 of my top 2 most wanted games from the Winter sale; glad I waited. I also get +9 from the bottom tier even though I don't know if I'll ever play any of them.

I actually had Mean Streets back when it first came out, but managed to avoid ever playing any of the other Tex Murphy games or 7th Guest/11th Hour.

Well, I do love FMV games...because I'm psychotic...but I already have all the Tex Murphy games on GOG and Roundabout looks garbage.  Missing and Her Story look good, but not enough to buy the bundle just for that.

Not a fan of how you have to spend at least $1 on every bundle to get anything now. Humble Bundle, more like Haughty, Pretentious Bundle Hipsters.
