PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I think that's at least 1/3 the reason why cable programs are so much better than network in general, most of them are 10-13 episode seasons so there isn't any need for filler.
Absolutely. There are 10 and 13 episode seasons of shows that have filler. Trying to do story arcs over a 23 episode season is just crazy.

I guess I'll add Banshee to the list. I watched season 1 when I still had Skinemax and it was pretty good, but I had trouble picking it up again in season 2.

I think I have to watch The Path on Hulu next though.
Please post your impressions on The Path. I like the cast and want to watch it.

So I saw X Men Apocalypse tonight.  I liked it a lot, but I'm a big x men fan.  If you don't know all the characters already, you might be disappointed that some of them get absolutely no development.  I just liked seeing them up on the big screen though.

Is it good for a big xmen movie fan, but don't really know characters from the comics?

Yeah it's actually really bad. Besides the absolutely awful framerate, the amount of weird looking wooden pathways jutting out all over the place constantly block the camera. I didn't have too much issue with the enemies besides the dudes that shoot toxic darts at you, easy to get hit by one of those without seeing it.

But the level design is terrible. And again, the framerate renders it almost unplayable at times. If the framerate was stable I could probably tolerate everything else as an annoyance. Seems like a good place to quit and hopefully move on to a slightly more refined game in DS2. Definitely makes me scared to even bother with Demon Souls though.

Dark Souls 1 could definitely use a remaster that adds fast travel and fixes up the framerate on that area and any others that drag it way down.

I know the dude is running around a lot which is creating more enemies than necessary on the screen, but he's able to get it locked at a pretty stable 13 fps there for a while.

Might try one other thing before moving on. You talked to the guy with the Horns in the Depths right? He moves to firelink after that. To get to him travel toward the path which leads up to the tunnel that goes to the undead burg. But instead jump onto the stone platform below that tunnel.

Buy the master key (unless you already got it as a starting gift) and you can use that to skip a large section of blight town. Take the elevator down to the New Londo Ruins from firelink, head right, open the door with the key, cross the beam and enter the cave.

Yep, the performance there is terrible, it's pretty much the only place in DS1 where the FPS is that bad. There might be one large cavern in Demon's Souls that had a little bit of an FPS issue, but generally nothing nearly as bad as blighttown.

Yay, girl gave me her Facebook rather than her Instagram, which was weird, but I'm not complaining. If only she grazed my leg, then I would know for sure that she wanted the D.

I see you at the top of the TT board though pete... there's my motivation!

Feel like i've played Overwatch for hours and hours, looking at my stats i've only played 5. I guess its all these short rounds.

Game is so much fun though, man.

All this Munkyflix talk has me jealous, my UV list is at about 200 with tons of classics and I'm always adding to it but this guy's list just sounds legendary! Plus nobody on my share list ever adds shit to share, I think it's time I find better a class of people to share my love of film with lol.

I hope that's not the quality of the localization.
I almost made that same comment then remembered the translation was already done. Whether the guy tweeting knows English or not doesn't really matter as long as he can plug this into the Vita version:

Only just started playing Overwatch (decided to be "that guy" and got Amazon to apply 20% off the sale price), but it's still awesome. Not sure of my schedule this weekend, but anybody want to party up on Tuesday evening?

Facebook is for old people to keep track of what each other are doing and to share clickbaity headlines and terrible image macros.

Twitter is basically just an advertising tool anymore.

Yeah munky spends a gross amount of money on blurays.

My boss recently discovered Facebook and it's turning into a nightmare. The second I retire I'm deleting my account.

I add stuff to munkyflix on a regular basis so I'm sure that keeps my membership going. Although I wonder if it bothers Munky when a movie is on there that he doesn't own a physical copy of.

Jesus I was on the phone for over 4 hours today because some motherfucker stole my identity.  Turns out there is another person with the same weird name, who goes to the same school, and ate at the same places I used to go to.

EDIT:  I did end up finally finishing the Godfather Part II.  #Munkyflix #BasedMunky
