This game is awesome even without going online. It can be frustrating at times but it's really not that hard. This is a good time to buy because it will probably go out of print.

I just picked this up again recently (200 points on goozex). It still has a good size player base.

I called Wal-mart to see if they had this deal and they laughed me off the phone. I believe the employee got all the copies of Gameday '99 for himself.

I think you have 14 days to get a price adjustment, but that doesn't apply to clearance prices. They aren't supposed to adjust the price for clearance markdowns.

They really should rate the PS3 console "M" so that everyone knows it's not for kids.

Seems like an all right deal. I'm waiting for the sonic racing game that comes out next month though. Hopefully that drops in price quick.

The reviews are probably consoles from 3rd party sellers.. These are brand new consoles, that's why they are more expensive than what you get from ebay or gamestop used.

My slim is plenty reliable, and I really haven't heard of many problems with them. It froze once during Uncharted 2, but I think that was more to do with the firmware. Refurbished slim consoles are probably either impulse buy returns or the package was damaged from falling off a shelf in the...

It's built in to the disk, i.e. already there when you boot up the game for the first time. The only code was the one for the modnation beta.

I didn't think the GOTY was really worth it. I'd rather just buy the original for around 30$ used. I'd buy it if they were both the same price.
