My understanding was 8 new and 8 giant, which would give each element a new figure and a giant.

Got the same email. Glad I picked up the figures I ordered at Walmart earlier this week. Same with the Empire of Ice at Walmart. Picked up at Best Buy.

It was listed as 15 at one store, but regular at the other. The 15 one was sold out. The regular was stocked with 20 of them.

I expect Skylanders 2 as well, but I'm not expecting new figures, at least not a new 32. If stores have to stock 64 figures total it would get to be a bit much. Maye 8 or ten new ones. 3 in the Starter Set. 3 Adventure Packs and 4 Singles. Maybe a level cap increase and new powers for the old...
