Indeed, 3do and a couple others had the daisy chain. To be really authentic to PCE and TG16, they'd need to use different ports on the PCE and core grafx then the TG16 and make the controllers not fit in each other. Since they are USB maybe use USB-C on the jp and EU ones and regular old usb...
