Well, after playing through the first one (haven't gotten to the second one yet), I do like the battle system from the first one, and this one looks like anything but. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it's still a game where so much shit happens randomly in battle that non-players/spectators...
Well, it's $13.20 again, so I went ahead and bought one. I'm ashamed to say I've never played Chrono Trigger all the way through, and the only copy I have in my posession before this DS copy is the PS1 copy with horrid load times. This will be a nice treat.

I've heard the PS2 version was superior, but after reading those reviews, the grounds on which they claim the PS2 version to be superior don't really fit me. I might be bad...

Taking a ruler to it, it's maybe a little over 2 inches in height.
Just got mine today. Wall scroll looks amazing, though I'm more tempted to call it a really long poster than a wall scroll. I played the game afterwards, and while being very simple, was still fun enough to keep me interested. The only gripe I have out of all of this is that it looks like...
Er...I don't know about everybody else, but my order actually says "Shipped." now, both the game and the wall scroll. Complete with tracking information and everything for both.
I know. That's why I said from what it sounds like on this thread. Whether or not this thread actually matters in the grand scheme of things at XSeed is an entirely different matter. ;)
From what it sounds like on this thread, that chance that the sequel would be coming out here seems pretty high, with every thread being either "I went out and bought it." or "I heartily recommend this game."
