I would suggest first luring him to attack (first invis thing) and get behind the rock jutting from the ceiling to prevent u from getting hurt. As soon as the attack has passed you, sprint to his right side. He'll still be in his super beam attack motion. You can kill him from here. After that...

Dude Im wayy too scared to fight him the real way so all I do is flame toss his head constantly and dodge when he attacks. It's even easier with co-op buddies.

I think I skipped 4 bosses accidently. Now I'm stuck with NG+. And the ending I got was one of the most anti-climatic endings ever. I am disappoint. I guess I'll redo the game lol.
