It was a targeted b2g1 coupon that some people got in their power up rewards account; also some people got various other types of coupons; some got no coupon. Definitely not a chain-wide b2g1, though. Been a looooong time.

Not necessarily true. They often have different prices from their Amazon counterpart-pricing, or if the item is not on Amazon it can be drastically above or below the "market price" for better or worse.

I never get in on the "go hastings has a sale and so they raised all the prices" conspiracies. I just got a good laugh, though, browsing through the used game inventory. Both games I checked started at one price as I was browsing and then jumped up 30% when I clicked on the individual titles...
Such a fantastic game. Much more in-depth than the previous titles with a more interesting story, in my opinion. Definitely will rebuy it (sold it for more than I bought it for originally)
