Huh? Brickseek queries their inventory - if you put that UPC in, you get that 37 DPCI, which is the *only* one that doesn't correspond to a wave 4 amiibo on target.com (you can search any of the other DPCIs and it will return that specific amiibo - if you search the 37 one, it returns...
Nope. Corresponds to Target's mystery DPCI (207-00-5037).

Type in the UPC: 045496892067
So definitely coming to at least Target as well. Probably not exclusive at all.
I'm amazed NWS didn't sell out of all the rares immediately. They must have gotten some pretty large shipments to still have Meta Knight of all things.
My personal guess is they'll focus the obviously eventual line around Pokken Tournament, releasing figures for the playable fighters in that game (and maybe some of the supports?). Would be a good way to not go crazy with the number of figures in that line :P
Yeah I think people were only assuming that because he's the only new one. It seems like a lot of places limited pre-orders out of caution too, even though stock seems to be pretty high for this series.
I do suspect he'll sell out pretty fast regardless, but I also think he'll be restocked...
Wait, what? Wouldn't amiibos be the opposite of proving that?
Anyways, I reaaaaally wouldn't bother holding onto these under the assumption they will be worth a ton someday. All it takes is one reprint to plummet value (i.e. Marth). If you wanna sell, your better off doing it now rather than...
I wouldn't discount that date. They are completely different situations. It would be more like discounting the 3/20 date for the rest, which is a pretty solid date.
Nintendo actually made stock of these. The shakey dates on waves 2 and 3 were a combination of the port strike and low inventory...
Looks like SMB Mario is *barely* a bundle exclusive:

Street date April 3rd :P lolz
These two statements don't jive :P
Either way, I don't understand the heavy dose of pessimism and malice assumed on Walmart's part. Walmart doesn't stay in business by purposefully fucking over their customers.
Yeah, they are just checking that your card is valid and has the necessary funds. Don't worry, they do this for everyone. Honestly, I think most of the cancellations are people failing this check - possibly due to a glitch on Walmart's end (or maybe not?). I would say the fact that you saw...
Mine says that too - they probably all do. It's calculated as "Shipping on the 20th", which is a Friday, so not technically until the 23rd, and then give it another week for slow Walmart shipping time.
Maybe he paid for fast shipping?
