There have been some good deals, but by the looks of my local Costcos they seem to be getting out of the new release market. They looks to still have the $20 value games, but there haven't been any new releases in for quite a while.

I suppose hating the environment and not following the 4R's are principles. :P

According to the Widescreen Gaming Forum, widescreen support in RF1 is native. They didn't have any more details than that. If it's not accessible through the UI, you may have to manually edit one of the config files.

4gb should be tons for pretty much anything. Plus you can just plug in another USB stick rather than buy a hard drive.

For the first playthrough you should be fine in the high 30's or early 40's. For the second playthough you need to be at least lv 50. If you've got the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned to go through still you'll get to 40 without too much hassle.

Can anyone in Edmonton verify the 50% $4.99 titles? I've tried a couple of BBV's in the Edmonton area and no luck. I'd like to get a couple of the titles listed, but they aren't scanning at $4.99 to start (ie. Burnout Paradise is $14.99). Thanks.

I got lucky. I grabbed Wolfenstein, CoD4, CoD: WaW, Darksiders, GTA: Episodes, and Killzone 2 while they were available (all 360, except KZ2).

From the looks of the Futureshop website the prices of most of these games has been adjusted. For example, Killzone 2 is now $24, CoD 4 and WaW went back up in price. I'd say YMMV now depending on how quickly the stores update the tags on the games. LBP is still $11, as are a few others.

Am I the only one who has been disappointed by these deals? They're nothing more than okay, I was hoping for a big discount in some of EA's more recent titles. I thought with the subpar C&C 4 review scores they'd deep discount it to get more people playing it. I guess there's always the...
