Wii U - General Discussion Thread

I was considering a Xbox One, but I realized that most of my favorite 360 games (except for Halo) were also on the PC. I have Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Tomb Raider, Castle Crashers, and so on available on the PC. And now... the biggest Xbox One game (Titanfall) is also coming to PC. So I feel...

Wii U - General Discussion Thread

Speaking for myself (obviously), I was a huge Nintendo fan until the Wii. I had the NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube. Loved them all. I don't think the problem was the Wii itself, though I honestly don't like motion control gaming. It had plenty of great games to be played with a regular controller...

My car got wrecked. Any CAG Car shopping tips?

Make sure to check out this site for all the used car info you need: http://www.samarins.com/ I bought a Subaru Impreza for $2,880 around four years ago. Still running pretty good for me at 180k miles. :)

    HP Touchpad $99.99 / $149.99

I don't get why they marked them down so low. They could have put them on sale for $199 and probably still sold out.

    HP Touchpad $99.99 / $149.99

I'm just going to wait for eBay prices to go down then pick one up. This will also give me a couple days to let my brain decide if I really actually want one or not. Or maybe I'll buy from one of you lovely CAGers. :)

$200 for a nice HP 16GB tablet is still a good deal. I'm gonna hold off though. I expect them to drop below $150 within a few days.

I know nothing about computers. Can someone help me out?

Brand also matters a bit. If you're going for a laptop, the Toshibas have a higher than average reliability rating.

iPod Touch\iPhone\iPad -- Ongoing App Sales

I had a lot of store credit burning in my pocket so I jumped at NBA Jam for full price. It is definitely my favorite app, well worth the $5. I normally dislike the on-screen dpads but it works very well for me. But yeah, I'm sure it will drop to 99 cents eventually, maybe even within a month or...

In charge of purchasing games for teens in a public library setting

You may want to invest that $500 budget into more games for the Wii and PS2. Although the Xbox 360 has many great games (and is my favorite console), I would steer away from it because of its history of reliability issues. Buying a PS3 would be a safer choice, but they cost $299, so there goes...

iPod Touch\iPhone\iPad -- Ongoing App Sales

Ahh, bad luck. And a little surprising, since both browsers use the Webkit engine I believe. Fortunately, the vast majority of web sites will display fine in Atomic, as long as they're coded decently. I haven't run into any issues with it yet.
