I prefer Demigod because the bots put up a better fight. It's a total non-issue for most people though. There are only 10 Demigods but they're all vastly different and each has its own skill tree, which is more complex than the LoL. But LoL has WAY more heroes and I believe they add new ones...

Defense of the Ancients Heroes of Newerth League of Legends DotA is the original WarCraft III mod map and the pioneer of this kind of game. DG, HoN, LoL, and even aspects of games like Monday Night Combat are all followups to that, with their own strengths/weaknesses.

Yeah I swear DOTA-style games have the worst communities. They're very unforgiving if you get yourself killed because it gives the enemy lots of XP and currency. If you're not the competitive type (and I'm not) I'd stick to bots and friends.

Even if you never take it online, it's worth $6 to just try each Demigod in the single player tournaments. You and some friends can play up to 5 bots too. I just gifted it to a couple friends so we can do that.

It says something about the free month only being available for new accounts, so you couldn't play your monk. I've played several trials and really enjoy the game. There's a staggering amount of content in this game. Lots of collectibles and thing to get addicted to IF you're an MMO kind of...

Question: if you buy EQ2 now, do you have to activate (and start your 30 days) right away or does it give you a key that you can activate whenever you want? I can't really play now so I'd rather activate when it looks like I've got more time.

Has Gamersgate improved their downloading speeds? I bought Batman from them earlier this year and got speeds between 100-300k. For games as big as ME2 and DA, that'll take awhile.

Flight sims are a very niche market, which is probably why you haven't heard of it. In those communities you'll find most people singing its praises as being a super realistic helo sim. Just watch this video of the startup procedure (I think there's an option for an easier procedure)...

MannishBoy is right. The web site showed the closest was 40+ miles away. I called the store like 3 miles away and they said they had copies, and it was $19.96.
