They did tie the $200 to my ebay account, so I did get the money back. No explanation as to why it was frozen. I guess my original point was even if a GC shows $0 (on ebay at least) it may just be dormant or suspended. I wonder how many other companies do this. I know I have some old target GCs...

3 years ago. Luckily I still have the receipt. I think my only other GC from those days is a southwest airlines card. I'll have to test that one later.

they fixed the bug where it reset to 0 if you went over the limit. I remember emailing them about it about 5 years ago. I believe the limit is per game and banked keys. Not sure if the bank is shared across platforms or not. I assume PS3 and PS4 are pooled though.
