This is a solid start.
The next step, IMO, is to monitor the online marketplace and periodically perma-discount DLC. Too many titles have full price DLC after 3+ years, with one or two pieces of DLC costing more than the actual game nowadays.
I was seriously anticipating a Cena heel turn. Would've been a great way for the corporate suits to finally "get it," and put an end to an era of shoddy PG programming in the name of selling merch to kids who wouldn't be caught dead wearing it 5 years from now. I was hoping for next week's...
I'm still completely unsold on the idea that tablet and smartphone apps have anything to do with console game and PC sales.
The markets are completely different. Tablet and smartphone apps' customers are students and workers on the commute. I dare you to show me ONE person who would pass up...

Denting gamestop's used sales should mean little to any true CAG. Whoever "trades" their games to Gamestop and whoever buys used from Gamestop are virtually always getting ripped off anyway.
Instead, this action will hurt Gamefly subscribers the most unless Gamefly works out some special deal...
I'd imagine buying any arcade model at a retail store, open-packaging or not, is a terribad endeavor. Gutswappers overwhelmingly swapped for arcade units. Pros and elites, on the other hand, should be pretty safe.
Is it just me, or will this "promo" simply create a lot of MW2 thefts that profit gamestop, which will redo this promo in the future, creating a loop of misery?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the faceplate collection craze is long dead, though during its heyday people were paying hundreds for those pieces of plastic. Oh well, I put it up on craigslist for 60.
I'm looking at this one that's listed at 150, and it says nothing about cliffyb's signature. There's none of it on completed listings, though completed listings sure seem to be significantly less than the buy-it-now prices...
