This is Redbox Text service, they send a code on the first Monday of each month, and other texts throughout the month that don't have codes attached. These codes can be used for movies too. If you subscribe to their emails, you can get codes for 50 cents off the first night of a rental or 50 cents off two rentals every weekend.
 
Haha, thanks a lot, OP! And they expire on the 31st of Dec. so I'll hopefully be able use them all (unlike the 1-day expiration codes), lol.

I tried to do that and each time it said failed to send message.
 
THANKS A BUNCH, OP! I'll never turn down free rentals. The only downside is to drive/go back the next day to return it especially if you have no where else to go that day.

I tried them all again and got 1 new code and 5 were sorry yada yada limit 1 promo per person.

Thanks OP, just checked out :360: Blacks Ops II to maximize my "one" day free rental. Hoping I'll be able to beat it by 9 PM tomorrow.

nope. codes have to be used at the machine. At least from my experience with them since i see now spot to input them online when reserving.
 
Damn, I upgraded my iPhone and didn't restore from backup, now I lost all 6 text promo codes.

Hopefully Redbox support can provide them

Yeah, I'm guessing they stock new releases the day before they come out, because I was at a grocery store after midnight on Monday, and they had the game then.

It was fun at the start, but it got all kinds of stupid a few missions in.
 
Going to have to bump this up, I couldn't find the thread while I was at a Redbox that had BlOps2. Hopefully they have it later, if not, I have till 12/31 to pick it up!

lolol! I actually enjoyed what I played of it.. Definitely diverged a little from the traditional Hitman formula, but overall it's a great game. Love how everything is streamlined now. And the score rankings is a nice touch.
 
thanks OP... this was awesome.. used 2 codes to finish halo 4 single player, and the other 4 codes to play Dishonored.

One minute past midnight, local time. This basically means you get that day plus the next day until 9pm.
 
This thread has been awesome for me. I'm hooked on the latest Sonic kart racing game (it really is terrific), and I've been able to repeatedly rent it thanks to these codes.

I used the last code on this list for my last rental...but before I bit the bullet and paid, I tried a Google search: "free game rental" [results within the last week]

I found a 7th code to text!
